Beyond that though, invariably you'll have to explain to someone at some point why you can't just do some simple thing that everyone else can do because your device doesn't support the app needed for it.

So what? Is your self-esteem based on the corporate brand of phone you choose to purchase?

Huh? Who cares if it's "supported" or not? It's a gadget. Either it works or it doesn't. Windows 10 phones work just fine, and will for at least another 3 years, if not much longer. If I have to get a different kind of phone in a few years... who cares?

Windows Phone 10 is supported until sometime in 2020. There's no reason not to continue to use Windows Phones for another years, at least.

Windows Phone 10 works great. I got one of the $200 Alcatel somethings from a Microsoft Store and it's really awesome. Great UI. I like that you can use it without a Windows ID at all. Mail is much better than the other two. Calendaring is good. Maps and GPS aren't bad, but I don't use them much. It has all of the basic "apps" you might need (Lyft and Uber for me).

The reasoning behind this move, which if you think about it was inevitable, is the reason why I still think all cars being put electric is infeasible. You simply CANNOT have enough fast chargers around to reasonably accommodate everyone who needs to fuel up in a day.

    Uh, why not?

still support electric cars mind you; it's just that in the end most electric cars will be hydrogen fuel cell based, where you can fuel up in a reasonable timeframe just like cars today.

So, instead of just installing new electric devices onto the existing power grid, you think that society should create an entirely new distribution network for hydrogen? That would easily take significantly more time and money that it would to simply install more chargers.

The thing about marxist enforcement outlets is that they tend to be propped up regardless of profit. The hidden value is in how they are used to condition the population. They will be propped up as long as people keep going there. They will get endless investments for their contribution to the status quo, for their effort in rendering the human capital in this society to liquid.

The discussion is about Twitter, not "Fox News". I think you're confused.

True net neutrality isn't just at the packet level. True net neutrality applies at all layers, including the highest levels where content and user comments, rather than packets, are the main focus. It means not deleting/hiding comments or submissions, and not banning users, just because they express perfectly legal ideas that hurt somebody's feelings.

That's 100% incorrect. Net neutrality DOES happen at the packet level, with every user on the Internet, whether an individual or a for-profit business, able to do what they want, without an ISP interfering or acting as gatekeeper.
