This story is comment-bait A story is a story is a story.
As I'm only on Reddit one a year, I like to see this kind of cross posts. If you don't then "stop falling for the comment bait: and don't comment".
the comment count is already near the median number for every older story still on the front page I would love if people stoped mixing up average with median.
P.S. and don't forget that stuff like lung cancer comes mainly from smoking, basically *all* cancers come mostly from smoking or other environmental poisons. You can improve treatment as much as you want, but still people go out of their room in the hospital and continue to smoke: while under treatment. Thee is only one cure for that: magic. I guess we are just another 10 years away from that.
This article is about one particular kind of cancer. That kind of cancer is called leukemia.
And that particular kind of cancer has about 16 different variations which basically only share one part in the name: leukemia.
The improvement is for exactly one kind of leukemia.
If you dismiss the huge advances mankind made in cancer treatment during the last 30 or 50 years: then you are extremely uninformed.
Basically every ex cancer patient I know would have died 20 or 30 years ago... miserably. Now they live... some with no signs at all, some with an occasional chemo therapy every 3 years.
The patent itself is not the problem. The question is a fair licensing schema.
Actually, the government should patent it, and hand out licenses for 10% of turn over or something. That would beat the amount of taxes any company would pay by a magnitude.
Also if the Arthritis is just worn through cartilage, there is no diet to grow it back that I have heard.
I think that one has a different name. There are ways to regenerate it, but it is not common science yet. Depending where is (e.g. knee) often they do surgery for a prothesis.
Why? In Pascal you would more or less say the same:) Unless you program in a very close to natural language (AppleScrip, HyperTalk), dictating a piece of code always sucks.
Try reading some C (or your language of choice -- except maybe Ada) out loud and see what you'd have to do to get the voice parser to recognize stuff as characters not words. You read it out like what it means, not as single characters.
Function returning a pointer to char, named 'strcpy', two arguments: a pointer to char called dest, a pointer to char called src. Body: dereference 'dest' with post increment becomes dereference 'src' with post increment. End Of Function.
I guess I'm lucky you never had to dictate code to me via a phone:)
You would be surprised how many iPhone users do use ordinary headphones and a headphone jack. Bluetooth: just another device that can go out of power on a trip.
It rises. The amount of people committing suicide 'in the field' by shooting intentionally their own head of or blow up themselves with a grenade is very high.
Yes I know this is true. As soon as I call some clients or text them from my phone they begin to show up in my Facebook recommendations. If I save them as a contact it happens faster, especially if I include both email and phone numbers in the contact. Then I would deactivate the facebooks apps access to your contacts. Plain and simple...
The MAC address has nothing to do with network based location. And strictly speaking, the celular circuits to connect to mobile internet, don't even have a MAC address.
What about: the strongest signal wins? Hu? A cell phone simply has one antenna. Not to eyes. It can not even "look at a light house".
The point was about MAC address. Unless your phone exposes an API (and my web browser on my laptop most certainly does not), there is no way the App can know the MAC address and send that to the server.
The App has no way to know the "names" of cell phone towers either.
And my phone does not really know/reveal to what tower it connects, hence no app can know it, and AFAIK there is no API for Apps to guess/know to what tower the phone is connects.
Why are you insulting me and making an idiot of your self?
Nice try... however you failed to tell us how to do it. Because: you can't. You can not tell us, and you can not tag photos with names that are not on facebook. Unless they are public figures and FB has them "in the database".

When my 25 year old Cherry Keyboard fails, I buy a new one.
Most if not all arthritis problems can be handled with diet changes.
Find a good medic.

Hope that helps.

Hope that helps ....
Because a screen is a screen is a screen.
There is no reason at all it should stop working.
Anyway, in the article the OS upgrade fixed non working screens. People who can read have a strong advantage ...

Why don't you read the article instead of "I guarantee this is what happened:" bollocks?
No need to watch, what I put on the internet. ...
Forr an idiot like that I don't want to work anyway
First of all: abid the law, and you don't get prosecuted by the kaw.
Secondly: the 'college students' started the killing
And finaly: call us again when the needless killing of black people has stopped in your country.
Bigotry ... the greatest sin of humans, IMHO.

You are right, I rounded up.
It is 272, or was it 273.
However I fail to get your point. You had a point? Or had you not?

Yes,
I use cell phones since about 1993.

Which part of "she did not use facebook for her 'profession' " did you still not get?
