Enhanced 911 service, by law, activates the GPS in your phone and relays it to the emergency dispatch centre Sorry, I doubt that. Extremely unplausible. Considering that GPS in a small device is not reliable and ordinary mobile phones have no GPS and home phones/lan lines neither.
and therefore can not triangulate your location. Even if you can see multiple towers, reflections from buildings, absorption by different materials, etc, mean that a triangulated fix is generally fairly low accuracy (usually a few hundred metres at best) The same problem, even worth, you have with GPS.
whereas a GPS position (if it can get one) is usually accurate to withing a couple of metres. Actually if you have clear sight, it goes down to a few decimeters, 30cm or so. Otherwise: see above.
if you want news sources that just wildly agree with you and put together an echo chamber, news is one of the easiest things to get from many sources and methods, I don't need Twitter for that. Your parent is right. You don't grasp the difference between your way of 'reading news' and twitter.
Actually in many senses the Newton was far ahead of our current smart phones. Especially in handwriting recognition, interaction of 'Apps', the software centered around a soup of objects, the programming language (Dylan). There are plenty of enthusiasts still using them, the prices on eBay are extreme.
If your twenties were your peak you live a very unhealthy life. The peak is somewhere between 35 and 50, not 20. Perhaps a 25 year old sprinter can sprint faster than a 35 year old, but a 35 year old marathon runner runs faster than a 25 year old. And don't let me get into martial arts or sex or other things that take time to develop, e.g. music and other arts. I'm 50 and don't feel any different then when I was 16.
I'm not sure if you answered to the wrong post. I don't believe anything of the things you write. And this: they are still the same person they were before the body mod, and it's not unreasonable to treat them the same before, as after. is probably the reason for the high suicide rate. Why should I treat a post op woman like a pre op man? That is just retarded.
despite over half a decade to catch up, Designing a car from scratch takes more than ten years. Building a factory to build them takes probably longer.
The "fuel" price difference between an EV and ICE is almost entirely due to the price difference between coal and gasoline. No. The main difference is due to the 4 - 5 times higher efficiency of an electic car.
Most countries have a tax on gasoline and a tax on cars/vehicles. The latter is used to maintain roads. So instead of calling your 'absurd' tax system subsidizing, fix it.
especially against the coming generation of more fuel efficient IC engines. There won't be any. Well, I mean: you could import efficient engines from europe or japan. But there is no particular leap to be expected in future. Efficient engines are basically at the edge of no further progress.
I don't consider self driving cars (planes/helicopters) AI. Albeit lots of their software are results of AI research (particular image recognition/processing).
Accidents will always happen, because the 'whole thing' is designed by humans, may contain errors and is operating in a human environment.
Why that Tesla in that accident with the truck did not do an emergency braking is beyond me. Probably it could not detect the truck coming into its lane properly.
Life saving functions in hospitals are already mainly computer controlled. However the requirements for medical equipment are probably the most strict we have right now.
The only way birds "evolve" into avoiding wind mills is having a random mutation (a new gene) that instills an irrational fear over windmills and enough windmills on the world that kill enough birds that don't have that gene, so that the birds with the new windmill fear gene have a slightly higher breeding rate than those without.
And: that is basically completely impossible.
So, the only way to learn to avoid wind mills is perhaps for long living birds like crows and ravens that actually teach their kids about stuff to avoid. And: this is not evolution, that is culture!! (Yes, crows have such "cultures")

Locating your phone is not done via GPS.
It is done via your signal strength towards the surrounding cell phone towers.
Or do you really think it is legal in your country that a phone provider access your GPS on your phone????
About a week a go a group of young men watched a guy drowning in a pond in Florida.
Instead of helping or calling a rescue, they made stupid comments and filmed themselves and him and posted it on FB.

You seem to be an idiot.
The surgery removes the cutome, it does not add one.
Then Tesla was exceptional lucky. Typical development times are much longer.

And what about those who have both?
Or two varginas, or two penises?
People who consider themselve transgender have no mental problem. If at all: you have a mental problem.
The way how your body evolves is mostly a embryonic and hormone thing.
You call your self lucky that your body, your sex and your gender is the same for you.
Some people are less fortunated ... please stop trying to impose your idea how/what/why is going 'wrong' on stuff you have no clue about.
No, Tesla has not done both of that.
Why not check wikipedia if your attention span is so short.

I propose a deal:
You consider your use cases.
And I consider my use cases.
And please leave me alone while I consider my use cases as I will leave you alone when you consider yours!

No. The main difference is due to the 4 - 5 times higher efficiency of an electic car.
My car is a Peugeot 307, year 2005 or so, and it goes easily close to 900km with one tank of diesel.
You must be bad in math.

The data on each bus is still transfered serial ...
Actually not.
Simple evidence is evidence enough for anything.

You seem to be a very contradicting person.
You know nothing about plasma but point to page about a Stellerator, strange.
Seemes you missed the fact that Toyota is the world leader in hybrids and plug in hybrids.
Will it impact them, like we know seabottom cables can impact shark? I don't know, but I'd like to know. :D
I guess, we will sooner or later know
Yes,
and in my house I have 5 families, in total about 11 or 12 people.
And no one has a cat.
Hm ... cat fight?
Then again: can the cats go out, or are they kept in house?
I grasp evolution, but the parent did not.
