    Wetter over the ocean.
    Hardly wetter in a desert.

    And most certainly not wetter in the center of a continental land mass like America, Asai, Russia, Africa. Where the f*ck should the water come from to make it wetter there?

    Regardless how much water the Pacific is evaporating east of the Rockies, most of it will rain down on the rockies. If it was colder in winter much of it would be snow. And when the snow melts a portion of it goes west into continental america.

    If the climate is warmer, you have less snow ... I really wonder what people in our times learn in school ...

    Humid or wet, yes, in the amazonas. In south Thailand, perhaps some cherry picked areas in India. And that was it. More humid only means the autumn storms bring more water ... AFTER the summer drought. What the f*ck is that useful for?

    The sea levels so far have only risen a few cm.
    So, what kind of idiot are you?

    When Greenland melts, it is close to 20m rise.

    If Antarctica melts it is 110m, or was it 170m?

    Can't be so hard to grasp.

    And then tell me how I as an American should give a shite when America has done more to curb its polluting ways than any other major industrialized nation (looks at India, China and Russia).

    Both China and Russia would be more than willing to keep burning fossil fuels for a competitive advantage
    They are countries, not companies.
    They have no competitive advantage what so ever ... or are you scared they can build more tanks and more fighters than you because of CO2?

    The sun is at a minimum, hence it has no influence on rising temperatures.
    The difference between sun maximum and minimum is about 0.1% anyway ... completely irrelevant for temperatures on earth.
    Sunspot activity has only effects in the higher atmosphere ...

    Because 150 million years ago, that was the "standard climate".
    We don't talk about climate.
    We talk about change happening so fast that man kind might get wiped out ... or at least gets reduced to a low percentage of what we are now.

    To combat global warming, we have to cut down wealth of people, making them less healthy.
    No we have not. We only have to reduce CO2 output, and stop it completely sooner or later.

    If there is a law explicitly stating that there is "a right to be forgotten", then that right exists.
    Just in the same way as you have the right to own land.

    a general right to be forgotten just makes it possible to get away with murder depending on your personal ressources.
    No, you don't get away with murder. You get punished with 30 years or more jail time.
    You probably get released after 20 years because of good conduct.
    And 10 years after you left jail: your sentence is removed from public archives This is the right to be forgotten. And in front of the law is no difference if you stole as a teenager in a shopping mall or killed as an adult your neighbour. Can't be so hard to grasp.

    My car is 20 years old. It has no such battery issues as modern cars have, as it is not using any current when parked.
    The "fluid things" are only internet myths.

    I'm an example of doubt. Why would anyone (explicitly) support this?

    People seem to forget or ignore the fact that China is an Authoritarian Dictatorship.
    If it was supported it would have been in a big project, and he would not been fired now but promoted.

    The problem is that not everybody finds the same things aesthetic. My GF always wants to colour her hair blond. And wants me to encourage her to do it. I told her: one month in a year is ok ...
    Seems the concept that I fell for a black haired woman and that I like to stay her black is a bit to complicated for her :P

    Yeah, it is funny that some "fries" are called "chips", when chips actually used to look like chips. Or in other words: you cut a potato in thins slices, more or less round and fry them like french fries, we call that chips in Germany (and elsewhere), but it is not very common.

    So, you hate french red wine and women, too? Eeek, I hope not :P

    Maybe, but I question it because conversion of excess power to Hydrogen isn't being done economically anywhere else.
    If you have excess power, anything you do with it is economical.

    I was born in Denmark. I have never lived outside Europe.
    And you think, people don't pick public transport because it is super convenient?

    My car is parked next street ... did not use it in 7 or 8 months ...

    Or they simply figure, on a train with 100 paying customers, 100 free riding kids don't change anything regarding costs or profit.
    Or perhaps you live in the US and have no clue about anything.
