They hardly care what OS they have PERIOD. All they want is for their office applications to work, for their email application to work, and their web browser to work.
Great, so we're not only outsourcing work off the planet, but to robot workers.

Back to Moon in 2015?

· Score: 1
If the moon was developed as a jumping off point for Earth, exploration of the system would be much much cheaper than it is today (especially for the outer planets). That is because the Moon could build all of the space hardware
Great, now we'll be outsourcing manufacturing jobs off the planet???
The president cannot directly write make a law at all.
I dunno about that, there have been some pretty bad executive orders that smell, taste, sound, and act just like Federal laws.
Especially since that signal is coming in to my house/business over public airways. If it's coming in to my house, and I have no (reasonable) recourse with which to stop it, I should be able to do whatever I want with the signal once it gets there. But that's another argument.
I'm against the broadcast flag, but this is an argument I've never understood. If something is in my house I'm free to do anything with it?
If a supermodel walks on my property can I do anything I want with her? If some drunk tard rams his truck into my living room can I do anything I want to him? If I get home to discover that a robber left a gun behind, can I do anything I want with that gun? No, I have to follow the law.
I hope the EFF wins, and I'll send them some money tonight. Fortunately I have pre-flag HDTV tuners that will ignore the flag.
This card works superbly for me, including the software. The only problems I've had with ATSC (free broadcast HD) is jerkiness. This problem was actually caused by a faulty motherboard BIOS that didn't allow my ATI 9600SE to use the AGP properly. Once BIOS updated, I haven't had any problems since.
QAM is moot because anything good on cable will be encrypted anyway.
My only complaint is that there's no way for the software to turn the computer off and on when needed to make scheduled recordings, but this problem seems to plague all of the add-in tuner card solutions.
Well then they should buy a Mac instead of XP.

Can't do anything for us here at home?
Medicaid costs states and the Fed $300 billion a year and serves 53 millions people. On average, it is responsible for about 1/5th of state spending.
There is also Medicare, and in my state, Basic Health.
Your definition of "can't do anything" is very different than mine.
Cheney is too unpopular, but Jeb Bush in 2008 could happen. That's possibly 12 more years of Bushes. 2008: Jeb vs Hillary
...and this is why our tax code is 60,000 pages long.

but this isn't news people. It's been happening for 10+ years There's been conflict in the middle east for 1000+ years... this isn't news, people!!

Are you writing this from Iraq?
I'm quite certain the tail rudder will allow you to go left or right. I've tried it. A plane with vectored thrust would also let you go left or right.
