  5. iPad thoughts? on Best Mobile Computing Options For People With RSI? · · Score: 0, Redundant

Any thoughts on an iPad? I know it's overpriced for what you get like most Apple products, but for all of that it's not too bad. Not sure how your wrists would handle the input on one though if you have issues with touchpads. It is different in the aspect of multi-touch and the various ways you could bring contact with the surface. I know Best Buys in this area have them set up to test out if you're not sure how it would do.

  6. Re:cat and mouse on Palm Pre iTunes Syncing Back With WebOS 1.1 Update · · Score: 0

Because people don't want the iPhone for some reason, but want to use Itunes with their smartphone. Honestly Palm should develop their own media application for ease of use. Itunes is not that great a program, and keeps getting slower. I'd rather not use Itunes but it's the easiest thing for managing my Ipod and I'm lazy. I don't use Itunes for any other equipment I own and am quite happy for it. And technically, if you agree to a ToS where you agree not to use non-Apple approved products with Itunes, you're kinda SOL on getting anything done about it. Same as jailbreaking your iPhone....it's a pain in the ass, but that's your fault and problem for going outside of normal operation as deemed by the maker.

Ugh, he says a simple cheap solution...it sounds like it's going to cost just as much to implement it in the background for any companies who chose to use it. Plus they'll have to maintain a copy of what your unique key is, as well as maintain further IT staff in case of errors, which god knows seems to happen a lot on banking websites. Sounds like a way for him to make some fast cash if he can get organizations to take this up.

  13. Honestly... on Video Game Labeling Law Passed In New York · · Score: 0

I think sometimes the civil rights groups just want something to bitch about. Parents who buy games like GTA4 for young children will continue to do so. Parents who are anal retentive and won't let their 14 year old play GTA4 although (s)he picks up more violence watching the evening news anymore will continue to not buy the game. The only thing I see benefiting from blocking content on consoles is that your child's friend can't bring over a video game that you disapprove of and play it with your child. I honestly don't see a law like this doing much to freedom of speech, or even the current status quo of parents buying violent video games, other than to show you exactly what the violence is.

Because IM'ing, texting, and emailing someone doesn't do almost the same thing...if I'm calling someone it's usually for a reason, and not to just leave them a voicemail. But who knows, maybe there's a market for this kind of thing.
