Fine. But I don't have a problem with expecting Amazon to issue refunds to these stupid people. The technology isn't for everyone and Amazon should understand that.

Turning solar power into thrust wouldn't run out, and even a small thrust (over long periods) would be enough. Now my question is, would the Earth's magnetic field be strong enough up there.

That may be true for ineptitude, but not for willful tax evasion. They like to make an example out of them to deter anyone from doing that in the future.
One thing I haven't heard anyone mention is a third hearing for the word. When I listen to the 'Yanny' version what it sounds like to me is 'Yarry' (starts with Y, rhymes with 'Larry').
Then the day will come where, instead of military personnel choosing to kill innocent men, women and children, the drone will make the decision and the military will say, "Oops, machine error. Couldn't be helped. Not our fault."
I think they would die just as quickly, as long as O2 was completely displaced. The difference is they would know they are about to die and passing out that way, even though "high", could still be distressing. With just N2 you don't realize it's coming.
