I will bring your issue up with the United Federation of Planets immediately!

  2. Re:Patent bubble will lead to burst on The Economist on Patent Reform · · Score: 2, Interesting

Very correct! Most people don't know what a patent is, and most people who do live in countries where they can actively say "screw patens, we don't belong to any international accord on this" and just do whatever they want.

That's why, really, if you have something REALLY valuable you DON'T patent it, you just keep it secret.

  3. If we got rid of currency and patents and lawyers on The Economist on Patent Reform · · Score: 4, Funny

If we got rid of currency and patents and lawyers, think how happy the world would be.

We could do things for the sheer GOOD of doing them, people would be creative for creativity's sake. Just think Star Trek and don't tell me I'm wrong.

    Thanks, commrade!

I think this may have something to do with susie! Do you or do you not agree susie has / gets tons of viruses? Seriously, not joking here! Thx.

This is hardly the time to bring up susie, although she is prone to viruses. Perhaps we can "toughen susie up" with the help of these papers!

It looks like Canada got Dexter right this time! Too bad they messed up with their version of Dexter's lab...

  8. Yay! on Another Competitor for Blu-ray and HD-DVD · · Score: 1

First of all, I'm quite glad someone has decided to go this route for HD / HD-like discs that have tons of storage. The backwards compatibility is what will win people over. Plus, the name just sounds better. I mean, who would buy something called "Blue-Ray" anyways? ;-P

  9. Since when.. on BBC Magazine's Search-Engine Shootout · · Score: 2, Informative

Since when have people actually *used* Ask Jeeves? I've driven by their office (in LG) before, and it looks pretty sad. I can understand a shootout between MSN, Google, and Yahoo, but to incorporate Ask Jeeves is like inviting a Christmas Island to nuclear talks with North Korea.

  10. Simple on Venture Capitalists Think Open Source Again · · Score: 2, Interesting

It's really a great idea that little people realise in that a product itself relatively costs nothing and supporting it and/or releasing hardware for it is where all the bucks are. :-)

  11. Would work... on Verisign's Lawsuit Against ICANN Dismissed · · Score: 4, Interesting

This would work if a third-party site that had lists of registrars went up...

OMG I was there at Comic-Con.

I can say I haven't seen every episode of Farscape, but I enjoyed the ones I saw. And the trailer was so good and there was a lot of WOM spreading like Woodstock around the world about this trailer people were just jonesing for it!

Without Farscape, who would carry on the great Muppet tradition?

    OMG-you made me realize something!

There are ads in real life.
    Games want to be realistic.
So ads in the scenary in games,
    And products having real names
    Can work. ;-)

Solution is to make people see ads.
Before game doesn't work (nobody pays attention).
Slap ads in game, collect money. ;-)
