    He does not purchase a license to the content, whatever the EULA may say(seeing as the EULA's violate the concept of a first sale doctrine) and so may do anything with that particular disc that he wants. Copying the disc infringes on the copyright of the creator, but does not invalidate the first person's ownership of the disc.

    *headslam* The phrase "I could care less" is a sarcastic version of "I couldn't care less". Implicit in the former is the second part of the sentence which is "but I'm not sure how."

    Bush was from Chicago? Obama is a very different mold than Bush. Bush had principles, although even those were being eroded by the end of 8 years. Obama came into the game WITHOUT principles. That makes him infinitely more dangerous. Bush at least had to rationalize stuff to himself to support it. Obama doesn't.

    That's like saying it's legitimate for me to use the 2nd amendment as an excuse to legally murder someone with a gun. After all, if arms are covered under the 2nd, anything I do with them is. Just because they point to something as their justification does not mean it actually justifies said behavior.

    Fallacious conclusion. Just because they can judge which which screen contains more does not mean they can COUNT. Counting requires the ability to measure discrete units. If and when they perform this with 13 containers and 4 screens and return the same results I might be convinced of an ability to count. As it is, an ability to judge more is not the ability to count. For that matter, they never used an even number of containers on both sides, thus the lack of even a simple control.

    That would be because I guarantee that they didn't prove the distinction. This smells greatly of a newspaper science translation, which is to say it's wrong on it's most basic assumption, that baby chickens can indeed count.

    Bullshit. Howitzers cost hundreds of thousands to millions of dollars. How many fucking millionaires do you know of that would go out and fire a howitzer at people. Just like the case of full-autos, there have only been two instances since 1934 where a legal full-auto was used in a crime, and one of them was committed by cop. All the others were brought in from outside the US.

    I'm pretty certain that lunar soil isn't up to the task of supporting most plant life. Which means you'll have a long wait until someone manages to grow something on an airless satellite. as for a hydroponics farm, we know those work.
