    Do you really want every mod team writing their own auto-update code and then you installing it on your computer? No thank you. If it goes through Steam there will at least be a modicum of responsibility involved.

    Given that the current crisis' underlying cause was forcing Fannie/Freddie to make what we've now seen were .gov underwritten loans, you bet your ass the current crisis was caused by socialism. Even without the securitization of said loans, F&F still would have crashed when the housing bubble, caused by the same entities, popped. THe only difference is that Lehman bros, Merrill Lynch, AIG would still be flaoting.

    Except the responsibility would not really be his, it would rest in the agency. Oh ultimately if something truly horrifying happened and the media actually paid attention to it(fat chance) the president would be 'responsible' but in practice there is only an increase in power since he is not directly responsible but can directly use it for power. For instance, one could raid a property and take computers on 'suspicion' of copyright infringement when one was really looking for drug or other connections.

    ? Even with the latest fan-made patches FO1&2 still have bugs. It's a testament to how good the games were that people were still willing to play them even with the bugs.

    The GEAR drivers are signed by Microsoft Windows Hardware Compatibility, therefore are completely compatible with Windows Vista.

    Considering that the vast majority of American(possibly all, but I'm not certain) logging companies specifically plant their own supply to avoid deforestation and much of Alaskan salmon(Not all by any means, but a quite sizable portion) is grown in fisheries, you're barking up the wrong tree on those. Yes gold is limited, but I'm pretty sure they know that and they also know it's completely non-renewable.

    Actually, it does eat discs. I borrowed it from a friend to play Bioshock and it ended up eating a disc when my cat nudged it while I was playing. Didn't fall over, just bobbled for a second but it still ripped the hell out of the disc. Neither the PS3 or the Wii have this failing.
