my classmate had to do research on they guy who invented the hydrogen bomb. he googled it and the first link was wikipedia... blacked. I was trying to reasearch microwaves... blocked. it seems that only when you try to read an article its blocked. So its useless
Worldbook or Encarta? Those two have gone down hill fast. I rember when it was free. Now at school we can only use those two because they censor wikipedia:(

He asked us what do you thing about the book list and we said it sucked. so he asked if it was ok to read "fear and loathing in las vegas" we said sure. on the book list there arent any romance novels eventhough its a section we are supposed to learn. native sun is banned because it was writen by a prometer of communism. huckleberry fin isnt in standard form. i can go to yahoo games and espn but i cant view bios from nueclear physicist or web encylopedias exect the ones they pay for. Thats not protection that fucking censorship. BTW the only book ive read all 4 year was ferighnheit 451 which is about censorship nad Fear and loathing in las vages i would read if i had a copy at hand. I know there kids that dont have ready internet acces at their home im luck but its the principle of the thing.

my proof is updates. On the suse box about everyother day there are updates to load. When was the last time you saw a slack security warning? I cant rember. And im calling Suse and Red Hat Commercial becase they sell pro versions.
I bet that one of them is Suse. I installed it on a family box trying to ultimetly getting my family to use slack10 by the time i move to college(in june). Suse looks nice but they just had that damn box keep poping up saying update this update that. The "non comercial" distros like Slack, gentoo and debian are perty secure, but its Suse, mandrake nad Red Hat(a lesser extent) which are less sceure and more updating (thats just my personal expericence and listening to other)
If i dont pay 20$ i cant get the source. Also they give me a binary. look there. Red hat also gives the source code AND thier money is for support. Sveasoft changed the GPL code into "a closed company beta".
They didn't hire Rob and Marc to work on giving you online spreadsheets.
If they did this or an OS, which they wont as the article says wouldn't it cost them and the used massave amounts of bandwidth?
