    Ah, the immediate Direct Debit Guarantee. When an extra payment was taken by the company by mistake, I contacted the bank but they refused to refund it, as they said they complied with the instruction to issue payment when requested. I ended up arguing with the company over the phone and eventually receiving a cheque back in the post. Needless to say I no longer use direct debit.

    And yet, how do you know there was intent to commit fraud. Many of these coupons may say max. 2 per person, and this program is designed to enforce it. What if he/users wanted to print for friends? What if he/users were printing for multiple members or a household?

    It would only be fraud if he tried to *use* more than the limit of coupons (thus breaking some form of contractual agreement). Merely possessing them is irrelevant (for example would he have been liable if he had scanned the coupons back in and printed them again?)

    It's like saying carrying a gun shows intent to kill, whereas it only shows intent to possess that gun (if he is aware of it).

    I believe that TrueCrypt requires initial administrator powers on every computer you want to use it on. To governments, administrator just screams insecure.

    If you live in the UK, then it *is* legally available to you under the Data Protection Act 1998 (for a maximum of £10). Under s.7(1).(a)(b)(c), they are required to give you a access to "the information constituting any personal data of which that individual is the data subject" (s.7(1).(c)(i)).

    My computer runs aero perfectly fine with 512MB. With all those UAC prompts giving vista more time (which I have disabled), you wouldn't notice any difference in speed anyway.

    Not everyone is in control of their computer when it sends emails. Viruses can also do this.

    The other main issue is calls being received by several towers at once, with a strong strength. This weakens the signal for those on the ground, and can cause issues with call charging and choosing which mast to use.

    I use it, and thus your statement is wrong. Why should I upgrade to something that will only take more time to load, and thus I will have to fork out for a hardware upgrade, and is counter-intuitive?
