    I don't know about you, but I don't go to the store to "buy a gallon of apples." It means little to me either, even though I pump my gas by the gallon.

    How is stale webpage content optimistic that still estimates a date that has passed?

    It sounds depressing to me for the marketing for the device to be so idle. In fact, it sounds painfully reminiscent of the defunct Motorola MPx 300.

    Why not just pair your cell phone with your laptop over bluetooth and use GPRS if you're satisfied with dialup speeds? It might even be faster.

    I originally had the same attitude toward vitamins in pill form, and I still don't think they are a suitable replacement for a balanced diet. I do, however, recognize their value as a preventative supplement. For instance, studies have shown antioxidants to be beneficial in preventing blindness caused by genetically inherited macular degeneration. And I KNOW I suffer a lot less when I start to get a cold and load myself up with vitamin C and zinc.

    Ten bucks a year for a bottle of multivitamins is cheap insurance, and it's not like I use them as license to eat Ho-Hos for dinner.

    I am holding the box for the MX1000 in front of me right now and it begs to differ in fine print after an asterisk:

    "The laser sensor will not work on surfaces that reflect, like mirrors or glass."
