I'm highly cynical of the 'Being smart is for losers' idea. I even fell for it a couple of years and while my grades didn't fall, I didn't excel like I could have those few years. Many kids dreadfully fall for it, and propogate the culture. I have nothing against you. I was just trying to explain how burdensome the problem is. If you haven't seen it, good. Excel and try and be an academic ninja.

I'm glad you're into science and learning, people should dedicate their lives to causes like that. The author was looking for ways to appeal to kids that aren't into science already.

I've independenly worked on projects since 1993. I was trying to get the first MMORPG out. Imagine if it was tile based, and had adventures with a comical flare instead of just respawning mob killing.

Then I worked on a MMOG that was Tekken meets Online World. I got overwhelmed after a year of coding, and put it down for a while. I'll probably pick it back up sometime to have it done by 2020.

My current pet project is Transformers the MMOG. Its killer FPS meets RPG meets RTS. Aces are tracked and you have a kill sheet that orders by the top guns you've taken down. I honestly think it will be a multi billion, 20 year long running MMOG. I'm only a quarter way done with the design document. If Hasbro doesn't pick up the idea, they're crazy, but I'll post it on my online site:

The only recourse for people to meet is online games. Things in this new reality is really worth cash. The problem is, people haven't really made stuff *rare* and *desirable* yet in a game with a 20+ year long run. You'll see stuff going for 25 grand *all the time* once game designers get some skills. Its amazing with programmer and artist skills that game designers are still hacks. It really sickens me since I'm good at game design and can't get a job.

Whats even worse, is that it might not even be just big buisness. 1 person might have wheel patents, Another engine patents, another carb patents, another exhaust patents. So we never see the advent of the car. It happened with radio before World War 1. You allow software patents, and all you're doing is making it illegal for people to develop software.

I'd like to see a website dedicated to that. Do it yourself wind is probably really cheap, as the only component you need to buy is the electric motor. You can build the physical windmill itself out of scrap metal out of a junkyard or lumber. Then there is the problem of hooking the windmill up to your utilities. I theorized an idea that a box of batteries could be used that has plugs you can put your windmill's cords into. Then you could plug the box o' batteries into your home. You could also swap out the battery arrays for your electric car. But solid information on how to do this would rule.
