It is only an avenue for music piracy because you "are man enough to state that" you use it to illegally and knowingly pirate music. Napster didn't do it, you did. You could have just easily shared child porn or nuclear weapon secrets (or the cure to cancer, for that matter).

The point is that Napster is just a medium, and the tactics that are used to go after it scare some folks. So what, right?

OK, Gnutella comes along and fills the void that Napster leaves. What kind of tactics are the RIAA and their minions (Lars) going to use then? The only four things that redeem Holland at all are the beaches, the academic excelence of Hope college, the Industrial Wings at the Prime Time Lounge (over which wings I first learned of Linux), and the work of our friends at the Geek Compound (whom I hope don't get too offended at me dinging their city, but ya gotta' admit...).

I am afraid that a large part of fighting what is going on there will have nothing to do with the danger of porn, (it was pointed out that there doesn't seem to be a problem with that) nor with the danger of censorship. I am afraid that the problem will be a group of people who don't understand what they are doing, rallying around something marketed as "a nobel Christian cause to stop a Bad Thing" (Bad Thing being that nasty internet stuff that can harm our children). Anyone who opposes this nobel cause is then some kind of satanic spawn, and if the godless ACLU (or any "Outsiders") get invlolved, yikes, look out.

My experience with this community is that once the debate becomes the Reformed Church vs. the godless hordes, the original issue gets trampled. Which in this case is too bad, it's an important issue.

Now, it their opinion that my employer can inspect my home office for workplace safety compliance? Well, lets see, OSHA can freely inpect the office, OSHA thinks that my employer can inspect my home office, it's not too big of a leap to believe that they would feel they (OSHA) have the right to inpsect my home office.

Just a couple of additional points on this thread.

-You might want to reconsider the engine choice: The Hemi is a great engine for power, but a pain to keep running, while the 440 six-pack has almost as much power with the added advantage of being more reliable and easier to find parts for.

-The weapon in question is, I believe, a three barrel version of the GE M61A2 20 m.m. gattling style cannon (a wonderful weapon FWIW). I think that weapon on a articulated mount comes in around 850 lbs, which will require recalculation of the weight bais ratios listed above. Also, the ammo drum for that weapon is the real weight pig (when fully loaded), depending on how much ammo you want to keep on board. You will want to mount the ammo drum centered on the front to back balance point, so your weight bias doesn't change as you expend rounds. I think we all know how unpleasant it can be to be cornering hard at high speed while firing on a target and suddenly have the driving characteristics of the vehicle change on ya. 'Nuff said.

Have a happy new year, see ya on the roads.
