Im a registered republican. No, I didnt vote for Kerry, either. I voted for Badnarik, making me slightly more impartial, I guess.
However, when you automatically assume that anything that calls the integrity of a portion of our voting system into question, that we only care about election x, or party x, or some part thereof. I swear, this has been posted dozens of times before, but I see at least a score of posts proclaming "bush won! get over it", or some variation thereof in every election related race.
News Flash: We know.
If positions had been reversed, and Kerry'd won, Im sure everyone would know about it too. Yes, there would be more rep watchdogs than democratic ones speaking up... why? They have a motivation too. Yes, you should keep it in mind, but that doesnt automatically mean its wrong.
I swear, do people ever think before they reach for the reply button?
The ten day guest pass included with WoW collectors edition is nice, but ten days is generally a rather short time to test something for those less than fanatical players(Don't look at me, I got a lev 24 druid and six other somewhat smaller chars over stress test and open eta) and its not included with the regular version, let alone offered for those who don't have friends who play.
A two week trial would entice me to play CoH, a game I certainly wouldnt buy otherwise. With MMORPGs, a bit demo risk, that people will simply keep playing the demo, is almost entirely removed as well, since who really enjoys repeating the process of hitting lev 10, ad nauseum?
Actually, at one time it was quite common to hunt deer with a.22, which is highly effective. However, if, like some people, you have difficulty hitting the deer, let alone placing a shot, you'll end up with the colander scenario...
Not like its not possible to cripple an animal using a large weapon, either...and Im sure they can swap out weaponry attached to the cam. Rednecks like guns, but they do like big guns more.
At least they didnt loose mine...I voted absentee in MN, and was mildly worried that something would happen to it, since its discomforting not to have the sureness of dropping it in the box myself.
Well, I called home election morning, to discuss the outcome. I was informed of the progress of my vote through the system. No...they dont work at the polls. Apparently I was the only person in my district to vote for Badnarik, and some people found it amusing... I have renewed faith in the secrecy protection of the current system, as well as the intellectual level of poll workers/my fellow voters.
Not that I intend to stop voting Lib...just get others to do the same.
It must be under attack, probably by terrorists, who seek to quash our freedom and replace it with...evilness! Because, you know, it doesnt make sense that a site could go down because of insane numbers of people using it. Us slashdotters cant imagine such a thing happening. Besides, who would be going there now, anyhow?
Yeah, I voted for green canidates on lower level elections, badnarik on prez.(Absentee ballot) Id prefer to rack up as much as possible for third parties in general, even if its not MY third party.
I doubt that...I hear it every election, and unless theyve been getting successively more important, which I doubt, its just more hyperbole.
Additionally, I intend to live a long and happy life. Hopefully with many other important issues. I know, Im overreacting, and everyone does it... But frankly, Im sick of hearing people blather on in ecstatic terms about the election. Describe it as what it is, peopl.
Scanning a libertarians brain proved unsuccessful due to uncontrollable twitching when forced to look at either canidate for a period of time. Niether republicans nor democrats were able to understand this irrational behavior.
Seriously, all these surveyes, tests...and no third party info. Frankly, Im not horribly surprised by the results...Im quite aware of people crazy connections to "their" canidate.
"OMGWTFBBQ THE SEKKRIT SERVICE CAME TO MY HOUSE OMG;)"
Obviously, the profile of a possible assassin. If only they knew how common these people are... Half the aol chat rooms probably are out to kill someone.
Ever been tempted to track the random people who attempt to hack/spam you, and beat them senseless? If only we could network this...I'll beat the people that live near me, and we can all post our catches on a forum somewhere...
This thing has nothing to do with battle...its a freaking gator with some RC capabilities built in. We've got one(sans RC since apparently the pentagon hasnt deployed them yet, or doesnt care about us. Take your pick:-). We use it for hauling dirt. Driving it was one of the few joys in my life until they made me stop. And now, they try to prevent any possibility of me ever doing it again! Those bastards!
So? Theres plenty of em...go review your history books. We certainly dont stop them all.
Not to mention, one mans mass murder is, to another perspective, one who took strong, but effective means to quell rebellion.
What does the 21st century have to do with it? I love when people throw that in, as though everything should work perfectly, simply because we've been a civilization longer. Deal with reality, not with ideals.
I love this bill! It makes me feel safe and happy, since now I know little billy wont be killed in the playground by terrorists.
I didn't need those civil rights anyhow... Im sure the politicians, which are mostly nice people anyhow, except for those dirty (other party) who eat babies, wont do anything wrong with that info.
Seriously, after reading it, I was quite happy that someone put out some evidence for what I've observed. If I had a dollar for every time I tried to tell someone that Iraq really didnt have nukes....
350-380 fps? Find a field that lets you play with a gun shooting that hot. Then, dont play there, as its almost certainly unsafe, and thankfully, they're fairly rare. Ive played for about eight years now, and ran a field for two.Generally, woods courses speed caps are no higher than 300fps, and speedball(close ranges, similar to protest situations) are capped at 250.
Any painball that requires being fired at that speed is certainly far, far too hard. A regular paintball should break reliably at about 200 fps.
Ive played with extreme velocities under controlled conditions, and don't reccomend it to anyone. Firstly, most safety gear isnt made for it. Secondly, expect to be bleeding profusely afterwards. Third, a hit to groin, head, neck can cause serious damage if inadequately protected.
These weapons could be used in a safe riot dispersal manner, but this is a clear case of excessive force.
Well, I couldnt find any specifics as to the nature of the error. I'll assume at least some were minor errors added to the count to make it appear more definitive.
Besides, no one argued that machines do well with precision... I for one, dont worry about the machines screwing up, I worry about people screwing the machines up.

Actually, its to stop taxes on internet access. Guess someone else has problems reading before fingering the reply button.

Still kinda pissed that someone donated fifty in my name to the repubs this year.
Selling one card, ready to vote, only five bucks.
No, the problem is that they made a Jedi fairly pointless, seeing as how it gets owned by most other elite combat classes.

Thinking about reregistering as L though.
Work together to take down the rebublicrats...

If only it were that simple.
