I hope that Bluetooth's products are better then the idiot they found to design thier web page... Aparently I don't just need a particular browser to view thier page, it has to be the right level, and for a particular OS.
Someone needs to brush up on HTML standards, and grab a clue!:)
My copy of A New Hope on VHS has "Episode IV" going by at the beginning. (Not the SE, just the normal release). Did they change it from when it first hit the screen?
Well... That ad definatly convinced me. Convinced me not to buy Xi products that is. I think I'll stick with my "unstable" XFree86. Since after configuation of machines over the last 6 or 7 years, I don't think I've had it crash or lock. Gee, I must just be real lucky or something.
So long as Perl and MySQL exist, there is no need to waste money on non-standard, poorly-documented, bloated, and most annoyingly *non-relational* database packages.
Errrr, the last version of MySql that I played with *didn't* support foreign keys... I ended up dealing with the relations in my own code... Has something changed in the last 2 months to remedy that?
:) I figured *someone* would call me on that... I would bet that you don't have perfect grammer either... Nor someone to proofread every post to slashdot...
>Speaking of video cards, does anyone know if there is any S3 Trio3D XFree86 Driver that supports more than 16 colors?
Yup, XFree86 3.3.4 (you might wanna wait for 3.3.5 which should be out RSN). The SVGA driver will support the S3 Trio, the only catch being that 15/16 bit modes may have a glitch... (one of the clocks on the card being miscounted in 15/16bit mode? Something like that...)
Couldn't find anything in the article to post about eh? Haven't read enough Huck Finn or E.E. Cummings?
Personally I think that this was just NASA doing some really early airbag testing. I mean, think about it, things that explode in your face and nearly kill you on impact? Heck, maybe this is where they got the idea:)
Which are of course ripoffs of honda's VTEC, which is a acronym (abbreviation?) for a real thing! Instead of a meaningless name:).

Hmmm, isn't this how an episode of STTNG went? Systems so complex they produce unexpected results? I think the enterpise ended up creating a new life form.
And just think, that was from a system with touch screens (eww) and people that went "woosh" and pushed doors open for you.;)
Hmmm, but what life form would a OC'ed Alpha produce? The Enterprise produced a little ball of energy thing if I remember correctly...
Don't worry, the RIAA will but a stop to this abomonation!!!! Imagine... People being able to listen/record high quality music without paying off the RIAA, err, not giving %5 to the musicians (ya right).
No one would ever buy CD's/DVD's again!
I tell you we can't have another fiasco like those MP3's.
Well, after at *least* 30 seconds of intense testing, it looks like a lot of the functionality of the windows version is there... (The stuff I was working on in VAJ for doze imported, ran)...
All I can say is. YES! I'll be coughing up the bucks for the full version when it's out. (The preview is limited to 500 classes)
Problem #2 NOBODY in the debian camp tried to create a slink, 2.0 version of the package, since everybody is so busy making potato so good.
I beg to differ :)
(and NASA select).
Space porn? Or is this a different NASA acronym? If so, do I want to know what it stands for? :)
I'll still be zipping along in my 1972 air-cooled VW.
Zipping? When you said VW I thought Bug. Then you said zipping. I couldn't figure it out, until I realized you'd misspelled Porche.
:)
AND IMPLEMENTATION DETAILS OF OPERATING SYSTEMS.
Hmmm, if the kernel isn't an implementation detail of an operating system, what is.

Really?
My copy of A New Hope on VHS has "Episode IV" going by at the beginning. (Not the SE, just the normal release). Did they change it from when it first hit the screen?
I saw the first Star Wars (Star Wars, The First Fscking Episode, before the grand renumbering) in 1977
Errrr, watch it again, about 15 seconds into the movie you see the words, Episode IV, go by...

Tracts of land?
Uh yup.
Now, *THAT* is funny.... :)

Actually, I do.
What sick construction is this?
Do you compile all of your code with, at least, gcc -pedantic -ansi -Wall?
I mean, ALL of it? Just asking....

Hmm, well if you find him, maybe get him to ask himself....
If you find him you might tell him that there's an MP3 (and streaming MP3) to download there...
Why would the code be any easier/harder to reverse engineer because of the OS? It's all opcodes to me... :)
OOoooooo 11 fingers.... I can just imagine all of the Emacs bindings that I would create... :)

Two words.

Think about it... one or two may not be too bad, but make a guy swallow a bunch, and ... Well... you do the math. ;)

That *WOULD* explain a lot about many people.... ;)
