The real problem is that Mozilla did really banal shit by pulling the rug out from under the existing extensions. One extension developer told me that the facilities they need are no longer present. Why did Mozilla abandon them after luring them in to write an extension?

A problem that google needs to work harder to resolve. I do not believe that google does not have the knowledge and the clout to resolve this issue.
