At Abilene Christian University, our internet is blocked as well. We can even get 'auction' and 'entertainment' sites (eBaum's World) blocked.
The blocking seems to be sporadic though. Not always blocking the sites consistently when visited.
I have been playings games since I was 5 years old. I played everyday because my asthma at the time prevented me from playing sports. I don't understand what has come over this generation of gamers. Games are not even that great anymore. Most are just re-hashing old concepts with a new face. There are very few that I could play for that long.
Wait till these kids get to college (if they do). They will see that all that gameplaying has gotten them nowhere. As for the parents, they need to stop letting their kids do what they want. My parents would have hit me if I talked back to them about playing video games. We need to teach our kids self-control.
I still think that the Wii will be bought by more people because of the affordable price. If anything, after-school programs could buy/receive a donated Wii for much less than the PS3. It can also target lower income families who might be able to afford a Wii.
I have had to take a lie detector test for work. I get really paniced under pressure and they could not get a good reading cause my vitals were always high.

Don't you mean give them the whoppper and THEN give them food?
They already did this in Robots
What about Bucky O'Hare?
I, for one, welcome our new invisible overlords
That was a bad wording. I'm talking like getting spanked for talking back to them when younger.

It's good to see support from large companies for the Wii. It looks like there will be some quality games for this system.
