true.. but the choice between .NET or Java should be based on other facts different that you hate MS. Consider your enterprise enviroment... if you are in a windows only network, why would you look for trouble with java?...

You could even remove microsoft software like wordpad or media player from those scritps... use http://unattended.msfn.org/ as a start to build your own installation.

But what the distillate is you're not going to buy it to watch DVDs on, you're going to play games with it. You're not going to surf the internet, you're going to play games with it. It won't transform you into some actuallized renaissance man (or woman) through shear wonderfulness of the Total Microsoft Experience, you will play games with it.

Not true. Your statement doesn't cosider new customers, kids rooms, people with new houses, etc... I'm happy to have another option that include more functionality in only 1 electronic.

Again, not true. People that want to have a next-gen console will make the choice bases in their past experiences. For me, xbox is far superior than ps2 so I'm sticking to 360.

this is actually what I can't understand. Alternatives to traditional media delivery are being developed as the crowd asked, but some dudes still want to keep beating the system. I remember when everybody claimed that 14.99 for a cd was too much when 1 or 2 songs were only appealing, but now we have .99 songs and still there's huge music piracy.

no.. it's the stealing behavior. If you or anybody don't like the way music industry acts, you are free to stop buying even listening to music. In fact you can start your own industry just the way you want it to be.

If I don't like somebody is my choice to stop hanging around with him.. and maybe he will think about it and change that thing that annoyed me. But it's not an option to beat him as scream "Change!, CHANGE!... CHANGE NOW!!!!....because i say so!"

I find it interesting that Sony has violating consumer's rights in order to protect their own rights. Now for the first time it is actually safer to download and listen to pirated music then it is to purchase and use compact disks and dvds. Piracy will become a matter of self-preservation.

Sony really went to far with their rootkit. They should punished for their acts (with big buck$, that's only what they matter). But this is not an excuse for more piracy. Don't forget that the abuse of music/video/software swapping is the root cause of the corporate behavior.

If anybody does not support the music industry, only have to stop buying cds. But downloading (aka stealing) is not an option.
