Not sure where you live, but here in Atlanta Zifty offers pretty much everything Kozmo did - video games, magazines, ice cream, light bulbs, resteraunt food, etc etc.
I much prefer companies that just keep their heads down creating the next big thing and then announcing it to everyones surprise. Pre-announcing products by years only serves to generate expectations that more often than not are unmet. Longhorn is how far out of the initial expected delivery date?
You're so right. I mean, really, how long will it take for Microsoft to get a clue about marketing?
Are we sure that there wasn't a ghost writer on this one?
Quite the contrary, we're sure that there is. The fact that Lucas had the sense to get one of the best dialogue writers of the last fifty years to write his movie for him is the main reason I have any hope for it.
When I read the title of this article, I thought, "Oh, how nice that the inventor is actually getting a little something. That's unusual."
My cynicism is now properly reinforced.
Q: If I can't collect, can it fly through space to me instead?
A: That would require a pilot of considerable skill.
Yes, yes it would.
...which we're all going to do, of course, whether it sucks or not. (Which is why most video game movies still suck.)

"Woah."
I'm thinking... "by not costing any money?" Startling!
Today: "Wow. My condolences, man."
There is only one standard editor.
Shocking!
Which is pretty much the same problem capitalism has.
Wow! +1 Insightful! You mean... when Microsoft released an OS and said, "That's our server OS," lots of people ran it on servers?
You really saw that one coming, man.
