    Intel, Microsoft and AMD aren't the only members of this NPO.

    IBM is too. Won't be too long now, if it isn't there already in some form. I know IBM laptops (including the one I'm typing this on) have had a sort of beta of this for a while now.

    When I want to get a phone number out of a text on my Nokia I open the message then go to Options, select Use Detail and then Phone number.

    There are also options for email and web addresses.

    Though I bought the phone in India I imagine the software is pretty much the same as it is back home.

    Very true.

    If the developers (of WordPress) were having financial difficulties perhaps they should have tried a fund-raising drive. They accept PayPal donations so it's not as if they're above such a thing.

    I use WordPress too. I get about 40-50 spam comments a week. Nothing unusual about this except that it's an old blog (moved domain/host) and I've tried to disable comments by deleting wp-comments-post.php

    Does anyone how they're still getting through?

    I would think that accelerating wouldn't drain the battery completely in one go though.

    Never had that but sometimes it will reverse the date order (i.e. ascending instead of descending).
    Mildly annoying.

    I just checked with my 3650 and the TV remote. They are sensitive to IR but the remote is nowhere near powerful enough to use as a torch. I'll have to do some further experimentation.

    Far Cry was developed by an independent team called Crytek. They're from Germany. Ubisoft was just the publisher for that game.

    I don't know about Splinter Cell. I think it was an all Ubisoft venture.

    AFAIK most motherboards for AMD processors have thermal protection for the processor. Not as good as on-chip stuff but still nice to have.

    Hummn. I seem to have implied that the python interpreter is a feature of the Source engine and not something Troika added themselves. Sorry.
    It is a very impressive game and I enjoy playing it a lot (even though it could've done with some more time for bug testing).

    I just wanted to let people know that Battlefield 2 wasn't the first big game that used Python for its scripting.
