Why do people still use checks in this day in age? The mind boggles.
For me checks feel more like money when I write them. There is not as much pain for some reason entering a few numbers on a screen, or just clicking 'auto pay'. We set up direct deposit payroll for my employees at one point. I stopped it after a month. I did not feel connected to where my money was going when I would just get a line on bank screen saying "total payroll draft was $xxxxx". Kind of the same reason that $50 bill can sit in your wallet for a long time unbroken, but the minute you break it and have two $20s, they are gone.
If I could, I would do payroll in cash. Then would really love it if the employees could then take that cash and pay their taxes that are normally withheld from a check. Let them feel what they are really getting paid and how much they are paying (or I am paying on their behalf) for taxes and benefits.
I pay everything I can with a check or cash.
That is fine if your name is Person X. If your name is say, Person Krzyzewski, and you are counting on someone else to type your name in, you will never get any tickets.
I would think the first footprint would have been covered up within the first hour that it was there. It would be at the bottom of the ladder and the only way in or out of the capsule. Wouldn't the astronauts have been stepping right on top of it many times?
Modern monitors can tell the computer what type of display they are, but that tends to be limited to the very basics (such as manufacturer and model number).
A monitor's EDID ROM can tell the computer a lot more than that. There are provisions for selecting which VESA rates are supported, complete details for custom rates, color temperature information and more. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EDID

I don't see it an an issue of fraud. Sounds more like an integrity issue.
It is OK. In a year or two they will be released from jail and informed that the jail sentence was all just a prank. Won't that be funny!!!
Best thing I ever did was get a Panasonic cordless phone which will drop all calls from "Unknown", "Unavailable", and "Private Caller".
You looked at all your life's accomplishments and that was the best thing?
Jury!
Sorry, they are still out.
