That sounds a lot like me. I have an x64 Vista install on my gaming/desktop PC and once I managed to tune everything and strip out the bullshit, it runs like a champ. I also have a Macbook and a Linux server, all of which have their strengths and weaknesses. I wouldn't want to get rid of any of them. Operating system competition is a very good thing.
Yeah. Maybe I'm just too used to the programming shop I've worked at for the last 8 years (god I'm old) but I just find it bizarre trying to imagine management trying to force a particular editor (or any other development tool) down the coder's throat.
I find it bizarre trying to imagine management would even think to care which editor the code monkeys use.
There's a difference though -- I'm just trolling here for pretentious saps like you. Your thoughts on whether the word "black" has a racist subtext are irrelevant to me.
And yet you said nothing to counter what he said, you only called him names. Speaking of spewing knee jerk crap... go back to your post-modern deconstructionist class and leave the discussion to grownups.
we are all Homo sapiens sapiens (except for three tiny African tribes, who DO qualify as another sub-species

If you want a very fancy 3D chat room check out Second Life. It is something like a very primitive version of the Metaverse.
It's actually a pretty fun alternative to WoW when you get sick of chasing that epic armor set and just want to chat and build things.
Well... bacteria and ants have spread very well too. What does that prove?
As for the general level of education in the populace, I'll leave that for now.
Within the fictional world of the Lord of the Rings, the Eagles followed their own agenda. There's nothing to indicate that Gandalf or anyone else could have simply commanded the Eagles to become the Mordor Express Delivery Service.
There is a product called Journyx Timesheet which is a fairly sophisticated time tracking and project management system.
It is free of cost for 10 users or less. It's a web application and the server runs under Windows, Linux, FreeBSD, and others, or you can pay Journyx to host the application for you.
I admit that I might be biased, I am a senior developer for Journyx.
I would like to gas most bloggers I've come across.

What a bazaar reply. Are you suffering from mercurial poisoning?

Ummm are you kidding? When have you ever been able to transfer characters from one game to another, especially ones made by different companies?
Are you a time traveler from 1989 or something?
It's not an oil platform. It's a WWII era observation and antiaircraft gun platform. /The More You Know(TM)
you fail at trolling the internet

Dat's wacist!
Ya don't suppose New Orleans was "lost" due to old, inadequate and decaying levees protecting a city parts of which lie 20+ feet below sea level?
Nah, it must have been the global warming. Obviously.

I prefer to measure the truthosity of a statement with my handy truthometer.

If you don't think black soldiers fighting in WWII experienced massive racism from all sides then you are the ignorant one.

For some people productivity isn't measured in raw number of keystrokes per hour.
Yeah, and both of those are just SO much easier than using those stupid "arrow" keys. I mean, who ever uses those?!? Really!!
Most (not all) of the female gamers I've known DO want their in-game avatar to look just like a "hot" silicoln-enhanced Maxim girl.
Unfortunately, more than you might think.
That might have been funny the first six thousand times and two times it was said. The six thousand and third time, not so much.
National Geographic, though a fine magazine, definitely accepts advertising.
