You are completely wrong. The reason there aren't as many configuration options in KDE 4 as in KDE 3 is because they didn't have time to implement them yet and they will be coming in future releases, not because they think users shouldn't be able to tweak them.
That's not true though. They have only rewriten some parts of KDE, most notably the desktop. Most of the rest was either new libraries or just a straight port to Qt4 with some cleaning up of the cruft that has accumulated over the years.
So just because you don't know anybody that uses it you assume nobody does? That's pretty short-sighted. I can as well say nobody is using Windows since everyone I know has either Linux or a mac but that doesn't make it true.
Well it's simple really. It's not a feature that the developers use. That's how free software works. You implement things you need or like before other things.
You are clearly a troll, or you have bad drivers or bad hardware since KDE4 works perfectly fine on netbooks with 512MB of ram with all effects and animations.
Isn't terrorism just semantics? Those who achieve their goal are no longer called terrorists, only those who fail. You could argue that most countries have been founded by some groups that we would call terrorists nowadays.
I don't know why you got modded informative but that figure you gave for LBP's sales is totally inaccurate. The game sold more than 1.5 million copies world wide and is still selling decently (at least in Europe) due to the recent holiday ads.
Well I don't know about PhDs but the game developers that try a bit (like naughty dog, insomniac or guerilla games) have no problem using all of the available SPUs.
So you refuse to buy games from EA and Take2 so you don't support companies that use DRM, but also refuse to buy games that don't have DRM to support the companies that don't use it?

Well some games like GTA 4 or Gears of War don't let you save if you don't have Games for Windows running.

OpenOffice isn't a gnome application, nor is Firefox. Also, there's KOffice in KDE.

You forgot à and Ã.
No he shouldn't, he should work on what his employer tells him, which is not the same thing as what you want from him.

What ads?

Wooosh.

If you bothered to watch the video, it actually talks about casual games and how they are too simple to be an introduction to more "hardcore" ones.
The only thing they share is the engine. All the rest is different, including the climbing mechanics and whatnot.
The fact that you can't lose doesn't mean that you will automatically win.
No it's a quote from the article. TFA also discusses other developers like Square Enix and Firaxis, even some indy guy remaking Metroid.
Fallout 3 is a sequel, not a remake. Another game that changed radically in a sequel (for better) is Resident Evil 4.
Sources?
Yeah I remember playing HL2 like that when it came out. Bioshock too was like that on Steam.
Other services like Steam and Metaboli already allow you to start playing the game while it downloads the rest of it in the background.
There are only a small number of games on the Virtual Console. And it's region locked to boot.
Warsow isn't a Quake 2 mod. It's using a modified Quake 2 engine that has most of the features of Quake 3.
