  1. Hmm on University of Wisconsin-Madison Bucks RIAA · · Score: 0

It's good to learn they aren't totally cooperating with the RIAA. I hope other universities take this approach.

  2. Re:Smashing Pumpkins on New Mac-o-Lantern · · Score: 0

Yeah like neighborhood kids are really going to be that technically inclined. However, if they were they'd be out looking for candy not vulnerabilities. Somebody find SecureWorks they'll find a problem!

  3. I was first in line. on The State Of Wii Preorders · · Score: 1, Funny

I showed up at the local ebgames at 9:50 (store opens at 10) I was extremely lucky because there is lack of interest in my neighorhood. I'm black and live in a black neighborhood on the south side of chicago guess the wii aint' gansta enough you know? Two other white guys were there we the only guys in line. So went in and all reserved one wii and zelda. I called back around 11:30 to ask the manager how the preoders were going she only had two left. (she was alloted 12 for the store) Apparently people came all over from illinois even from the far south suburbs. But yeah I got one Whooo am I glad black men love the PS3, if I had been in a white neighborhood I would have been screwed.

  4. Ironic on China to Control Reports of Foreign News Agencies · · Score: -1

It's pretty ironic that china decides to tighten free speech when internet use is exploding exponentionally. When will people learn you can't control, regulate or do much of anything with the internet?

  5. Why news indeed? on IBM Announces Wii Chips In Nintendo Hands · · Score: 0

Well guess the PS3 bashing had to end someday, and leave it gaming blogs to over hype shit.

  6. Hmm on Over 2.5 Billion Cellular Connections Now Active · · Score: 0

That's quite the impressive number, though I'm still keeping my AT&T landline. That way when I need to call 9/11, I won't have a dead battery or Vonage in my way.

  7. Interesting on No Shadow From the Big Bang? · · Score: -1, Flamebait

Seems like the big bangs being challenged every other day as a theory.. it's almost like evolution.. not a certainty of course but the best idea around that folks have reached a consensus on. You know on a side note I wonder why our American-Taliban friends have never challenged the big bang being taught in schools as apart of their quests to force creationism down our throats. Just a thought.

  8. Good Show on Steve Irwin Dead · · Score: 1

One of the best shows on animal planet and in the world.. I just wish I could have traveled to his zoo... RIP Steve.

  9. Apple doesn't have to be so exciting. on Has Steve Jobs Lost His Magic? · · Score: 1

We're not going to get an iPod introduction event every year folks. Apple doesn't have to be so exciting, just more than microsoft, which isn't saying much. That way they can maintain the alleged 4% (probably lower) market share they have.

  10. Get Sick of every Big Budget Game on 500 Million Halo Games, Halo 3 Documentary · · Score: 1

I've always been a fan of the Halo series and the hype just doesn't get to me. What was more hyped than Half Life 2? I still bought it, played and enjoyed it. I'm sure sony will hype the shit out of Spiderman 3 yet it will still smash records and be enjoyable. If you get tired of hype over games quit going to IGN and reading Gamepro.

  11. Seems like a bad business decision on Japan Solicits NASA's Help on Supersonic Jet · · Score: 2, Insightful

Consumers need a super sonic jet just about as much as they need a 300kph Ferrari. It wasn't practical with the Concorde and it won't be pratical now. Planes cost too much already, an Airbus A380 goes for $300,000,000 USD. I don't see how Japan expects some plane that won't fly until 2025 at the earliest, to transform their aerospace industry. People aren't going to pay the premium ticket price if the plane is ever finished just like few paid the steep ticket cost of the concorde. It seems this money could be better spent on current planes that are actually economically feasible for airlines to fly.

  12. Enforcing Video Game Laws. on Oklahoma Senate OKs Violent-Games Bill · · Score: 0

Who's going to do it? You're going to ask the police chief to pull officers off the streets to f*ing cite stores for selling GTA to preteens? We pass so many laws in this country and none are enforced. This will be another one of these laws, even if it does get passed it will never be properly enforced. What about the internet? Tommy can grab mom's credit card and order GTA off amazon.com and mom will be none the wiser. I'm against these bills because it's a waste of time, our country is in a state of rapid decay and we have lawmakers passing bills restricting video game sales and gay marriage. What gives? How about fixing the national debt? It's 8 trillion dollars!

  13. Odd. on Consumer Strikes Back at Crooked Online Retailer · · Score: 1

That is a terrible company with even more terrible business pratices. That form they sent the customer threatening illegal chrages on his credit card if he posted negative feedback was outrageous, and he was a fool to sign it. That would be the end of my service experience with them right there, no way in hell I'd sigh anything like that.

  14. E-Cart on High-Tech Shopping Carts · · Score: 1

It won't go mainstream too pricey. But it would hopefully make shopping suck less.
