    I agree 100%, but I think the term webmaster is/was the person you would send your content to so the he/she could upload it. if there was a problem, you would contact the webmaster and he could fix it. Sure when there is a problem you will contact the "webmaster" but, I think, before the webmaster was more of a handyman "do it all"

    Should be modded insightful not funny. What parent is saying couldn't be much more correct. You don't need a so called "webmaster" when editing a website, is no harder than making a forum post.

    Why in earth would they want to do that, lets say they make 20 USD per unit sold. 8 million x 20 = 160 million USD!, thats a huge stack of money. Sure thats if everyone buys it, but I'm sure almost everyone will.

    The only thing I am really sorry to see significantly cheapened is keyboards. I want the old IBM AT/RS6K, spring-loaded, clicking, cast-iron keyboards back. I'd really like one of the PC/3270 keyboards to use on my MacMini, just to get enough extra programmable keys.

    To be fair, I think he is just paranoid about people forgetting what GNU stands for, not so much about getting credit.

    He's a little over the top most of the time, but I doubt the GPL would be the GPL, if he wasn't so extreme.

    Not quite, I've had to return a fews CD's, because they had some lame copy protection, and then downloading the CD of bit torrent. I pretty much buy all my music, but when they pull a stunt like that, they freaking deserve to lose the money. Should be a law againist selling fake CD's :/

    I tried running it and it told me that I had two regkeys, which was part of the Grokster adware bundle (I never installed that). When I looked at the keys, they pointed to LimeWire, which has no adware. Guess its like MSN Messager Plus being spyware (though it has some bundle stuff, you can choose not to install it).
