I go to a community college http://www.grcc.edu/ and we have a pretty decent network, considering we have over 14,000 enrolled students who share 1 TB of HDD space... They even have fiber op!!!! I smell discrimination against community colleges here..... Just one look at our homepage and you'll see that we're better than most other community colleges!
How about we get a bunch of bush fans and kerry fans with yard signs and have them duke it out to decide who should take office. Can you imagine the 50 year old women going tactical on each other with bush or kerry signs? THAT would be entertaining...
People's airbags are going to be going off ALL the time from all the crashes...
*rimshot*
I just HAD to say that, regardless of the countless other (crappy) crash jokes.
Why can't they just shut the heat off completely and rely on the CPUs and monitors to heat the room? Just tell the workers to deal with it and wear extra layers. Its good on the heating bill and keeps the PCs nice and chilly. Think about it, cooler temps help the PCs run better, and makes it so that they break less often (except with n00bs who dont RTFM) thus saving money on PC repair and replacement. So as you can see, keeping the ofice cooler is better on the budget in the long run.
Yay! Something to speed up my p2p client! It was almost getting to the point where getting in my car and driving to whoever's computer I happened to be downloading from was faster than downloading it. Of course, with shareaza 2.0 http://www.shareaza.com/ out, it did get a lot faster anyway (with the support for SP2 and all).
maybe I'm just such a n00b that I dont know any better, but shouldnt it be/.ed nor./ed ? I mean, sure, dotslash sounds cool too, but its just not the same...
hmmmm, maybe I failed to relay t he sarcasm in my comment towards my school's system.
