People who play with regular mouses are constantly lifting the mouse off the pad so they can look around and play normally, you can't do this (very well) with his kind of mouse controller.
Also for some people it may help of you open the images in a photo editor, cut out one of the images and move it to the other side, then all you need to do is cross your eyes until the two images meet. I've always found it easier and less straining on the eyes if you do it this way.
I grew up as a child seeing AT&T and MCI all over the place, I always thought they were just the only two telecom companies. It's almost heartbreaking to see all these childhood symbols and companies being sold off or destroyed, even if they really didn't have much impact on my life otherwise.

Yes, however you only need to cross your eyes to see the image, which is much easier.
