I guess the top games list goes from person to person. They have some interesting games listed, but in my opinion they are not the best games of 2005. BTW, the site hosting this content sucks.
Either way, a list this big has to included Call of Duty 2 and Ages of Empires 3. There's no doubt about it.....they are the best games of the year.
COD 2 supass any expectatioon that one can have in the video game world. Is a breath taking game, and with sales compared to 78% of the xbox 360 sales, you better include that in your list.
AOE 3 is an awesome strategy game. I know people dont like MS etc,but this game is fun if you are the civilization type of guy. BTW, civilization 4 is in the list, even though is a good game, AOE 3 surpass it by far. I just don't like the slow motion that civilization is build in. I like to create quickly, and fight for a long time, not the other way around.
But, that's my opinion, you might have yours:)

I guess we are forgetting the background between these 2 companies. To cut off a deal like this, even with Microsoft money, might be hard to pull it off. These two companies got into major battles in the past, and Opera's management team might go to Google's way instead of MS.

Opera Press Releases Opera releases "Bork" edition The Swedish Chef Goes After Microsoft
Two weeks ago it was revealed that Microsoft's MSN portal targeted Opera users, by purposely providing them with a broken page. As a reply to MSN's treatment of its users, Opera Software today released a very special Bork edition of its Opera 7 for Windows browser. The Bork edition behaves differently on one Web site: MSN. Users accessing the MSN site will see the page transformed into the language of the famous Swedish Chef from the Muppet Show: Bork, Bork, Bork!
In October 2001, Opera users were blocked from the MSN site. The event caused an uproar among Web users and MSN was forced to change their policy. However, MSN continues a policy of singling out its Opera competitor by specifically instructing Opera to hide content from users.
"Hergee berger snooger bork," says Mary Lambert, product line manager desktop, Opera Software. "This is a joke. However, we are trying to make an important point. The MSN site is sending Opera users what appear to be intentionally distorted pages. The Bork edition illustrates how browsers could also distort content, as the Bork edition does. The real point here is that the success of the Web depends on software and Web site developers behaving well and rising above corporate rivalry."
MSN now allows access to users of Opera 7, but is still targeting and sending users of earlier versions a broken page. This treatment is completely unnecessary, as the page would look the same in Opera as in Microsoft's own Internet Explorer if it had been fed the same information.
"We are working hard to make sure the Opera browser works well on all Web pages, even those that do not follow the Web's standards to the letter," says Hakon Wium Lie, CTO, Opera Software. "But it becomes impossible when we are targeted and fed distorted pages that don't work in any browser. It's like putting a moose in the blender -- a recipe for disaster! Microsoft should clean up their act on MSN and their other Web sites."
I don't agree with this law, but it would be nice to see it applied to the congress and president's office. The whole country could then find out what really happened in Sept 11, the war on Iraq, and not to mentioned Bush's first "Selection" to the oval office.
I have received a bunch of false emails from ebay, paypal, banks, and etc. But, if the email seems real I always enter fake information first on the site in question. For example, the last one that I got from ebay took me to their site login (DNS was spoof), I enter aaaaaaa as the user name, and pass as "asdokngfakdv", and as I figure it, the login screen went directly to "Enter your credit card information"
If this was a real email, I don't think I was going to be able to enter with someones' user name(even if is a little absurd to have a user name as "aaaaaaaa") at ebay's login page.
I have tried this in every single email that I got requesting this type of information. Beware though, that 90% of them had a scrip that checked if the credit card number is valid. So, do not apply this to to the credit card information part.
The best advice is, if in doubt either call customer service or dismiss all these junks.
Make sure you are behind a firewall. This should be enough until you can get all the updates. BTW,acoording to a couple of network security studies, a fresh copy of windows xp without any updates will be infested with virus/malwares/etc in about 5 minutes in unprotected network.
This is the stupidest thing I ever heard. These big execs don't know right from wrong, and the SEC should be looking deeper at Bell right now. They should worry more at their survival then trying to dictate where we are going....VOIP rules
Try using Trillian. It combines most of the clients into one. I work with Clients accross the world, and every country uses one client in specific. For example, in Brazil/Mexico they only use MSN, Chile uses AIM, and so forth.
Trillian it's pretty stable and it can be a big advantage if you don't want to install a bunch of them to communicate with your clients.
I feel your pain Taco. They have changed my "Kinky_Man" nickname when I was level 58. Half of the people that I used to interact at the realm did not know who I was after the change. This policy sucks, even though my nick name was a little over the edge for those "narrow minded" GMs I guess:)
