The dictionary is not a good place to look up definitions of gaming genres. Try looking up "action" and see where that gets you.
Nothing has "evolved". Action adventures have existed for a long, long time alongside pure adventure games. Zelda started out on the NES, remember? The former genre is still alive and well, the latter isn't.
Remember the old horror stories of people finding a mouse skeleton in a bottle?
Yeah I heard that urban legend too. Luckily not everybody bases their decisions on urban legends, and many countries recycle bottles very efficiently, without problems.
Nokia phones, and most likely most others, have done exactly that for like a decade now. Maybe your provider removes the functionality, but that's another problem entirely.
I am saying that a harddrive is fast at reading, and slow at seeking, while flash is fast at seeking but slow at reading. Thus, you use the flash to cache those reads for which seeking is likely to be the larger factor, thus speeding up subsequent reads of those files. You see, yes? Is not difficult.
No, it still makes no sense because Linux doesn't have a feature like that, and thus it must be used as virtual memory! How else could you explain that Linux had it first?
That's not a feature in Linux, though, so you can't expect Slashdotter to accept it. How could they claim that Linux had it years ago if you start making up NEW features?

Yes, because the judgement is obviously meant to be interpreted by a literal-minded nerd.
Wow, you are like every single idiot on Slashdot rolled up into one person.
Good thing you pointed that out. I'm sure it will make him feel a lot better when he can't do what he wants to do.

Well, yes.
Ok. We wouldn't want you to force you to adjust your style of living in the least, or anything.
So, just as long as it doesn't cause any inconvenience to your or your lizard in a box, it's OK? Just making sure.
Ok, terribly sorry, we'll all stop trying to solve this environmental crisis. Can't interfere with your need to keep a lizard in a box.
From friends who went there, I hear China loves Americans. They probably have better cell phone providers, too.
Vista isn't stopping you
Incorrect. It is stopping you.

What provider in my country (USA) doesn't?
I don't know, I don't live the mobile backwaters. Maybe you could move.
Not a blogger, a consulting company, wanting some attention for themselves.
Well, considering his sentiment is completely wrong, where does that leave you?
1. Alow and foster homebrew (aka Mame games).

Here's your MAME for N-Gage: http://www.harmonicode.com/EEMame/

What's wrong with Vista? Six beardy Unix guys have their say
You understand Slashdot better than anybody should have to.
You do still go to START to stop the computer though.
As silly as this is, it's still better than Ubuntu where you select "Quit" in order to not quit.
No, it still makes no sense because Linux doesn't have a feature like that, and thus it must be used as virtual memory! How else could you explain that Linux had it first?
Because seek times are much faster on Flash than on the drive. Large sequential reads come directly from the drive, and small random reads are cached.
You could just actually read up on the technology, you know.
That's not a feature in Linux, though, so you can't expect Slashdotter to accept it. How could they claim that Linux had it years ago if you start making up NEW features?
They're not listening, man.
even though it would give them 20x-50x the legitimate sales
Where on Earth do you think those sales would come from?
And in the states, $4 is a nickle and a bit more lint: http://www.google.com/search?q=4%20cad%20in%20usd
Well, I find it hard to believe that GIMP can't do something that photoshop can.
Wow. You don't get out much, do you? So to speak?
