And what do you mean by "market"? Everything is not a business, you know. And who modded parent as Insightful?

One more thing, unlike what Google Maps says, there are countries in the world other than USA, Mini USA (known as Canada everywhere else) and South USA (known as Mexico everywhere else). So not everyone might know about a site that looks like it's useful mostly for Americans. And the best buy joke might not apply to all. Oh and nice way to impress the (obviously American) mods by making one post using your account and another one as AC (and probably a third one).

That would be even worse. It would create imbalance in our gases. For example, each molecule of CO2 has an atom of carbon and 2 atoms of oxygen, both of which are necessary for life. We don't want to eliminate the components of the green house gases, we only want to eliminate the resulting green house gases. And these are just things that I, an ordinary man, can think of. There can be many more bad effects because of your idea, many of which we don't even know yet.

    LOTR (all three)

The book was excellent. The movies sucked except for the sfx. BTW, this was adopted from a book so most of the story doesn't count.

    The Matrix

    Story sucked.

    2001

Not the typical sfx filled movie I'm talking about. Sorry, movies so old don't count. It's not the kind of digital effects movie I'm talking about.

Jaws (not a big FX by modern standards obviously - but it was for its day a big sfx filled hollywood movie)

    Same as 2001.

    Aliens

    Story sucked.

    Blade Runner

    Same as 2001.

Forrest Gump (just because its not sf doesn't mean it didn't have a lot of special effects)

You call this an sfx filled movie?!?

    Terminator/Terminator 2

    Story sucked.

    Ben-Hur

    Same as 2001.

BTW, Story != Theme/Concept. Most of the "good" story movies you are talking about only had a good theme/concept. Their execution of the concept into a story completely sucked. One more thing, even if all the examples you gave did count, it's still only 9 movies. That in fact proves my point -- you were able to find only 9 movies and even those were wrong examples.

Woah, you're seriously mistaken about free speech. Free speech means the government or the authority will not stop you from saying what you want. It does NOT mean that no one will protest your saying what you want. They are just exercising *their* right to free speech in protesting you. You say something and because of that organisations migh exclude you from their activities, all legally. Like, a private club might expel you. But you still haven't lost the right to free speech because you still can say whatever you want without breaking any law and the goverment is not stopping you.

If Dior put a full-page ad in New York Times encouraging people to buy Dior instead of Louis Vuitton, does that mean that the New York Times is responsible for violating the trademark, or would it be Dior?

Your analogy is wrong but anyway... Just think about it. If they sue Dior, some other company will give a similar ad in NY-Times. But if they sue NY-Times, no other company can give a similar ad in NY-Times again.
