Having a stable linux distribution running on portable handheld console could very well mean the difference between high sales or a a total failure.
with the psp linux project, the gadget has had a huge amount of added features aincluding the ability to emulate other platforms (famicon/snes/gameboy).
The nintendo ds isnt very exciting or sexy as a handheld. The added feature of various linux hacks (eg a media player) could very well make the ds a more attractive toy.
Cowboy bebop or something, in which rogue anti cancer nanobots turned out to become a deadly weapon.
I'm not yer average tinfoil hatter, but i dont trust these "bots".

Clientside is pretty much dead to me. I hate the whole write once, debug everywhere attitude. why bother writing some script in js if you have a dual xeon server for serverside processing.

assuming OS = free, why should devellopers have to pay for the license? Sure , i can understand for an LGPL license, but GPL should stay as it is. Besides, The entire batch of OS licenses need an overhaul.
