    I agree that mass produced American beer is crap, but that goes for every country.

    Guinness isn't mass produced...? It's a darn sight tastier than Bud or Miller.

    (nb. I'm not saying Guinness is the best beer ever, I'm saying it's not bad for a mass produced one...)

    best part about coffee? If you abstain for a few months you get that kick in the rear when you start drinking it again.

    Does the "kick in the rear" compensate for all the mornings you felt lousy due to caffeine withdrawal? And the intense, caffeine-withdrawal headaches? Does it make up for them? Seems to me like a continual up-down cycle is the worst of both worlds.

    Netbooks originally ran Linux. Putting Windows on them came later when people saw that they were selling but people wanted Windows.

    Hundreds of billions for something that you can sell and gives the country a renewable supply of energy?

    That's a bargain compared to all the wars, bailouts, pork projects, mansions for the few, etc. the rest of the world is "buying" with it's tax money.

    Time to make them print some posters and put them on the main entrance doors of every apple store in the UK. Nothing else on the poster, just the apology. In two-inch tall Helvetica. Make them keep it there for a month. Any attempts to obscure the text or make it difficult for the public to see result in contempt of court and 30-day jail time for the head of Apple.

    LOL! That's the oldest funding-game in the business. Keep the project "ongoing" and "more funding needed" as long as possible then jump to the next trendy belief.

    Hint: If cannabis made you creative all you need to do is run a few ordinary exams with groups of stoned/non-stoned people. It would take a week or so to figure out if stoners get better results.

    Caffeine does zip after about a week of (ab)using it. After that you just need it to be normal.
