Actually, the appeals circuit doesn't reevaluate the evidence of a case but merely whether the letter of the law was followed during the trial. If it wasn't, a new trial begins, and if it was, they may still appeal to a higher (supreme) court.
Everyone seems to be operating under the impression that Glass can record continuously. As I've seen, it can't be doing much of anything for longer than a minute or two at a time without running the battery down, and recording video is exceptionally intensive, causing the device to become quite warm after a matter of seconds.
Sort of, except its purpose is to reduce load time over the internet rather than increasing render efficiency for the client (nobody's computer struggles to display static images on a web page)
One thing that is certain is that vaccines save the lives of hundreds of thousands of children every year. But by all means, forego them if you really don't want to "take the risk."
That's actually mentioned in the source article (http://wind8apps.com/microsoft-employee-arrest-windows-8-leaks/) from this slashdot post from yesterday (http://tech.slashdot.org/story/14/03/20/1247232/ex-microsoft-employee-arrested-for-leaking-windows-8) covering that very story.

Having never had a Facebook account, this still worries me as I know I have been identified in photos posted to others' Facebook accounts. It would be nice if everyone read the terms of service and privacy policy beforehand, but we all know that's never going to happen.
The "five eyes" group sharing national security information under the ECHELON program is also sometimes called "Auscanzukus" for Australia, Canada, New Zealand, UK and US. I wouldn't trust any of these when it comes to signals intelligence.
Okay, let's only consider wanted pregnancies. Add people without ever removing any and see if overpopulation gets better or worse. Furthermore, do you understand how species development works? Have you heard of this "evolution" thing? Part of the deal is that unsuccessful traits need to fall away.
As awkward of a subject as it might be for some, it seems pretty clear that death is just as important a part of organic life as birth. If things didn't die, we would have far too many creatures to live in comfort together.
Yes, but today we are talking about driving.
Actually, that was the Gilded age: something gilded appears golden but is actually not so.
Plug it in?
Should we worry about things where nothing bad ever happens?

Sometimes I think all the sadness in this modern world may just be due to the fact that we don't have Phil Hartman to make us laugh anymore.
I miss you, man.
