    Well, if the copyrighted site consents to google (why it wouldn't) then the link is legal.

    These scum already take up the majority of bandwidth of the tubes.
    They are one reason why ISP's need to buy bigger servers and couldn't lower their prices.
    So, these scum directly cheat me out of my money, yeah.
    My time is also money.
    Losing a mail in the heap of spam can also cost you money.
    While i don't say they should be burnt or hung, i would like their fingers broken and banned from the net for a life.

    But why would it be better for the rest of the corporations and software?
    GPL'd code remains visible.
    BSD gets stolen away.

    Fine, if the BSD folks are fine with that, it is their 'business', not mine.
    I will be happily 'stealing' their freely given code, and do whatever i wish with it (including adding it to my GPL'd code.
    I, as a developer, prefer GPL because it means anyone who changes my code will contribute those changes back to me.
    And, i don't care a flying fuck if others like that or not :)

    Ok, maybe they push some adverts in the face of some people who are lame enough to let adverts pop up. I never seen any.
    You still go there, no one forces you and no one hurts you if you choose to not let them push in your face.

    I don't know if you do it wrong or not, though. What's your goal? Wanna see the adverts or not?
    If they pop up and you don't want to see them, you definitely do something wrong.
