Compare with the article where some chernobyl plants adapted to radioactive soil. Well, if Sony cannot adapt, it will die. There will be newer, more flexible media companies which will survive and thrive on the net.
Google doesn't go to the outside of a GM dealership. They have a booth on the mall where you GO IN and look for adverts. And you can always leave their booth without being hurt when you don't care a shit about their stuff. Google doesn't take away anything from GM, it is an optional service.
This was the first thing that came in my mind too! They blame P2P when they put sensitive data on computers accessible on the net, or just sell it outright. This latter could happen even if the internet wouldn't exist at all.
Not exactly. He says, cool stuff is getting more and more frequent. And this isn't just about human discoveries, it is observable in evolution of life as well.
And that's what makes it scary, what if we were not the first:) Then definitely we won't be the last.
If you are more interested in playing than in linux, then linux is not your OS. Linux (and OSS in general) is to scratch an itch, to do it yourself, and it has not yet enough people to support the next layer of users. The guy asked what he could do, and i answered. It is NOT my fault, if he cannot help.
Car and newspaper are not of the same class. The problem is both Google and its challenger work in the same field! Contrary to your analysis, i think Google will have to pay or abandon Android.
IMO, SoZ is the best Aurora engine based game so far (among official campaigns). It is still darn buggy like NWN2 games, but it is obvious the developers try and to some degree they are successful in creating a good single player game based on the AE. If you don't get impressed by intros, simply skip through them!
For server based games, you can simply deny access for pirated copies. If your server is capable of handling the free copies, you could even let them have limited access with nag screens, messages etc. to buy the legal version. Just stomp down any pirate server versions of your game.

So, when rats attack your cellar, you pick the most intelligent and ask for advice?
Or just kill them by anything at hand.
It wouldn't do much difference if it had a remote explode flag.
I play instead of eating so i'm skinny.
So why would they tax me.
They should tax only fat people, damnit.
What if it is a gene normally not found in nature, but due to Monsato's irresponsibility, it 'infected' plants and now it is 'in the wild'?

Linus did it, and i'm eternally grateful for it.

Write linux games yourself.
I dual boot to play windows games, but my main desktop is linux, where i work on a game port for linux.
You can whitelist mcafee scripts.
They use nuclear power to get OIL?
Which in turn is burned to get power?
Insane.
Nothing.
And if the google guys asked me before they bought it, i would have advised them not to buy it.
They didn't ask me.
So, don't ask me either.
Look at it from the other side.
Maybe they think this will let them put their foot in some doorway otherwise slapped on them.

Now i see why they disabled autorun. :D
Well, Colbert IS annoying to some, including me.
We still don't see if this new virus is deadly or just hot air.
Perfect to name it Colbert.
Were Kristen's holes used solely by the Guvner? You left this out from your calculation.
What? Give me a DC4? (0x14)
It sounds much more plausible with gimme space. (0x20)
DC4s are just too big to ask for.
They might think that the chinese try to pull some stunt again.

It's a power plant, not some flying fortress! O_o
Either that, or they could improve OCR of tibetan handwriting or even speech recognition.
Which would greatly advance computer sciences.
