So what are "chirurgical gloves" and are those Ipod earphones? Heck, muggers are going to be using those as a beacon of who to pick for years to come at this rate!
I had no problem sourcing one from Tronix at the end of last week, while Videogamesplus told me they weren't expecting any. Being in the UK, I don't know - did US people find it hard to get a copy?
While indeed those who bought the retail version did suffer more, there was a period last night (around 10PM GMT) when you couldn't *log into* Steam at all, no matter which version you had.
Might be boring to you, but the live music archive strikes me as stuff that's legally distributable and *very* interesting. Perhaps something on these lines...
Tell me about it. We just had a minor power cut (yes, I should have a UPS and will hand in my geek card forthwith) and when I tried to play again, it had logged me out of Steam. The servers are down (according to theinquirer.net) and might not be back up for three hours.
No offline mode, no halflife2, no nothing. Thanks, Valve, not like you could have anticipated the server-melting demand, is it?

Does it still go "Mistah Drilah!" when you turn it on like the Dreamcast one did? If not, I'm not buying, whatever region. ;)
You have one word for it, and that word wasn't even a word! ;)
