Ack! Now that is a crime! I had something similar happen with a good-condition '74 Monte Carlo - found it in the junkyard gutted a month later. So much for Mr. "I'm going torestore it" that I sold it too!

Maybe you could mod in a usb port into the can so you could sync it without opening it (I didn't see if that was possible in the Flickr set)

Not only is that possible, but it is a great idea! Right now, you just un-do the back clip and tilt the top up to get at the back of the iPod.

Well, I was pretty wrong then! If that is the case, the test-source must have been removed - I would get a fairly regular reading that matched background radiation - but never anything higher when putting the probe next to the location where the test-source should have been.

Regarding the "waste" - these are fairly common and not in short supply from surplus houses.

Now, I generally frown on lawsuits, but this is one type of case where it works. The people on these lists need to start filing class action lawsuits against these companies. Large corporations only feel something when they lose money, maybe it would send the message that you will be held accountable if you do not take security seriously.

Tsk, Tsk. What a terrible Son that won't respect the wishes of his Father.

Everyone cries about how Parents aren't doing their job anymore, yet when a law comes around that will possibly help Parents to restrict what they think (and yes, Parenting is about raising your kids with the values YOU think are important) are too violent for their kids.

Now sure, there will be plenty of kids that download the games, are have a friend burn them a copy - but you bet your ass that when that kid gets caught with the game I just said he couldn't have - his internet connection is going to disappear.

In fact, I like this even more because it frees the game developer to make even more violent/sexual games with the knowledge that they can just say "Oh, this is R rated. So you can stop trying to get this banned, its not for kids.".
