    Funny you should ask....Yes.

I was half-expecting to see a blurb about the Denton boys, Ambrosia, and something about some project called Helios.

    Wait....

    Reinvent the internet.....Helios.....

    Oh shit!

That is true, it would not be as immersive, but this would apply to RPGs on any handheld system and not just the PSP. My point was that the option was there, so you don't have to play just to get to that next save point.

Ah, but Sony thought of this already. Say I'm tooling along on a long-arse RPG game and suddenly find that I need to stop playing to do something or go somewhere. I can just turn off the psp and come back later. It automatically goes into a standby mode. I can come back at any time, turn it back on and pick up right where I left off without the need to save.

  4. Re:Who the hell cares? There's no innovation here. on Apple Updates iPod · · Score: 0

    My questions are:

    1. Why the fuck do you care if people drool over a company's product? Does it really affect your life so much that you feel 'physically sick'? Sounds like you need to visit a therapist.

    2. Why do you care if they 'only' use their computers to browse the web, check email, or download music? How is that not using a computer 'properly'? When were the rules written that said you had to do more with your computer in order to be able to own one or *gasp* like a manufacturer's product?

Personally, I work in IT. I do have occation to work on Macs here in the office doing repairs and other maintainance tasks. I own a Mac as part of my computer menagerie. I drool over Apple products from time to time.

    Feel sick yet?

Or take another perspective. Say we're building a new server for work. My company can only purchase HP or IBM servers (for hardware warranty and support and such). The machines come with Windows pre-installed. We format them and install Linux. Any chance getting that money back?
Uhh...why don't you just buy them with linux on them? Both HP and IBM offer linux solutions don't they?

Yes, and just who will decide when this 'threat' has passed and how will that determination be made? In the meantime what does the part of the gov't and private sectors that rely on GPS navigation information to perform their various tasks do, take one for the team?
