Seriously, pack every available space inside the fuselage with C4, and when someone "captures" one of your drones, wait a couple of hours for them to put it somewhere sensitive... and blow it up. "What? Not our fault you guys mis-handled our equipment.":
Minimal. NTP packets are about 128 bytes. Individual clients will (if up to spec) contact no more than every 64 seconds, but up to 17 minutes once synchronized (or longer if using SNTP). I'm in the pool and I never notice the traffic.
(ahem) I believe the OP was asking if the NIST time servers were part of the pool.ntp.org group. Which that page doesn't answer. So, thanks for playing, and enjoy the home version.
Nope. Anyone with a stable time server is encouraged to join. The operative word being "stable". It's more about providing something that will be reliably *there* when it's needed. The protocol itself will take care of accuracy.
So let me get this straight: I can pay gameservers.com $14.95 for a 16-player server, or my group can pay a total of $80 to Minefold for the same thing. This is what passes for innovative these days?
I elected not to mod you down for one reason, and one reason only: Your post was well though out and insightful. I don't disagree with the content. But that "First Post" shit causes me to instantly devalue your input before even reading it. You're only hurting yourself.
If I am held responsible for the smooth uninterrupted operation of a network, then I will most certainly take ownership of it. If you think that the IT department contributes zero to the bottom line, ask yourself how that bottom line would look if your network had 50% uptime instead of 99% or better.
If you aren't willing to let your Systems Administrators take ownership of IT assets, you really need to go back to abacuses and legal pads.
Why not drop it on Jerusalem instead? People have been fighting over that place for millennia. If I had the power, I'd have half a mind to set off a big dirty nuke there. "You can't agree to share your toy? Then NOBODY gets it."
Cannot run out of time. Time is infinite. You are finite. Zathras is finite. This... is wrong tool.

Completely different team working on the PE version. Not directly part of Mojang, if I'm remembering correctly - just like the XBox version.
You can't polish a turd.
You obviously don't watch Mythbusters.
Would it really kill the editors to include a link to the http://java.com/en/ download? Come on, guys...
The US blocked them from participation in the ISS. They wanted to participate, but weren't allowed to.

Earlier Anonymous torrent link was incorrect. Here's the one from the site: http://burnbit.com/torrent/204972/ESM_2_0_8_23_04_zip
This isn't "just to be accurate". It's to be pedantic and trollish.
And look, I replied. Well played.
Here come the RealDolls with goosebumbs. And reactive nipples.

It's $5B, isn't it? I mean, come on, basic facts too much to ask?
SecondLife's Linden Dollar, exchangeable for real cash, has maintained its value remarkably well, at roughly L$265/US$1, for the last 5 years.
Unfortunately, I lost my blue-box B2 - Keep on the Borderlands, complete with D&D (not AD&D) Rule Book to the Flood of '93.
And me still playing First Edition. Sheesh. I feel old (but well invested).

Seriously. They should have built a RAID5 of manufacturing plants.
I suppose it could be worse. They could have shot through and into the jail just to the south of the bomb range and opened a hole for inmates.
I've never used the useless special downloader program. Firefox seems to work just fine.
You mean exactly like Amazon's music store?
A state-issued ID if you want to vote, in some states (and more soon, if the Republicans have their way). So much for no poll tax.
