A vehicle driven by the pirates rammed the van transporting the Malaysian enforcement officials and MPA's anti-piracy investigators to the raid. Bat wielding pirates attacked the enforcement team. Only after the Malaysian enforcement officials fired their weapons into the air did the crowd disperse.
Am I the only one who can't avoid thinking about the Monty Python short movie with the pirates?:D
I'm still using w2k as xp is just a bloatware version of 2k.. ie, there's no real functional differences and xp is slower.
I wouldn't go that far, but I use win2k too, mainly because XP didn't like my computer when I installed it here... It kept resetting my machine, I suppose it was some incompatibility or something.
Do you take 1 minute to adjust the radio? Is the cellphone designed to be fully used without almost looking at it. Stop being an idiot, you know you're wrong...
Yeah, but from what I've seen, the number is supposed to be entered in Kilobytes, so 16384 is the number you should enter if you want to allocate 16 MB for Firefox.
They use javascript because it's faster and lighter. Besides, that's just their implementation of the interface to their maps database. It doesn't make it impossible to provide other ways to get the data, google could also (and maybe it will) provide API's to get it, as they did with this.
In an overall up server market, IDC counted $4.2bn worth of Microsoft Windows server sales on the back of 12 percent growth. Total Unix sales also hit $4.2bn in the period, IDC said, on 3 per cent revenue growth. Those totals left Microsoft and Unix systems holding 35 per cent of the server market each.
So Windows server sales == Unix server sales. If at least some portion of unix server sales are linux based systems (or other ocasionally free systems such as BSD), doesn't this mean that there are more unix servers than windows servers? I'm assuming that a windows server is more expensive than a linux server...
Not to mention the amount of servers sold without an OS, which could unbalance this equation even further, as some other poster has said above.
Well, you could probably say that about dozens of past inventions and developments in science. Other people have probably done it many times in the past.
I don't have examples handy and I'm too tired to find them, but they have probably even said that about things which we use directly or indirectly everyday in our lives nowadays.
Almost every non-ridiculous science is useful! And even some of the seemingly ridiculous science is useful too (and I'm not one to judge what's ridiculous or not...).

There are no good guys or bad guys it's just a whole bunch of guys
:| eheh
The sad part is... I remember reading that sig here. I'm reading slashdot too much
I think someone said that there were some guys/bots replicating random comments from story to story.
Well, at least he variates :)
I find those jokes quite funny, eheh.

(as if anyone cared)
Was the previous one that good? :) /me curious...
(btw, the "death to all the fanatics" one is quite well known, I think. I first saw it in some linux fortune, I think)
Thanks for ignoring the other part of my post, it means that the discussion is over.

Thanks to Slashdot, I now know that "Boa sorte" is Portugese for "Good Luck".
:)
s/Portugese/Portuguese
By the way, where did you learn it?

No, you were the only one :D
That's a dead horse by now, it's been discussed a lot of times. Here's one
...
I think you clearly need to see this...

How much is that in speeds of a bicycle?
I believe your thoughts are upside down...

Yeah. In other news, I don't want to shoot you, I just want to fire a gun at you...
who read it as "O'Reilly on the Virtus of Sex"?
Don't forget intersections ;)
Actually I've been able to find a lot of torrent files in emule...
If my sig cracked you up, why are you still a living idiot?
