No, I think that you both actually had the same version, unless yours really didn't have a Z in the top left corner. Both versions I saw had a white Z in the corner; mpeg and real video. The image quality was really good in the mpeg, but it was incredibly dark. To the point where you couldn't see what was going on in some parts. The sound was also really screwed up. You had to have an Awe64 or better soundcard, or you heard really crappy sound. I don't know what kind of encoding would only play well on the higher soundcards, but I know that's what happened with that release. They also did some weird stuff with the sizes. The first file was 603 megs, and the second was 683. You'd think they would split the difference and make it easier for us to burn onto cd's, but nooooooo. They had to do it the hard way. It was to dark to make it worth my burning onto cd, anyway. I got it, tried to watch it, and deleted it. I'm pretty sure the real audio was ripped from the mpeg cuz it had the same darkness problems and was released by the same group.
Well put. Fairly interested in this, myself, as a non-moderator as you can see from me using my real nym:) I also agree that the moderaters should act 'out in the open' so we can see who they are and know what they are doing. I can't think of a single system that works well and is well liked that is administered behind a cloak of anonymity. Although, knowing exactly which accounts are owned by moderaters, might induce some stupid people to try to crack passwords. But in all seriousness, I don't see that that would be a problem. A simple script should be able to tell if someone has attempted to login 9999 times.
I've been around for almost two years. Granted, I don't usually read the comments on ones that have more than, say... 250 or so. But I've never come across one that went all the way across in 1024x768 until now. Kinda lame that this thread is about absolutely nothing, isn't it?
Ding, we have a troll. I'm looking at the text file for the emulator I downloaded about a month ago. It requires at least a 486 CPU, 24MB RAM, and a fast 3d card, and recommends a P2-233 or K6-2 233, 64MB RAM, and a fast 3d card. Works under 95, 98, and NT. This would be psemu pro from http://www.psemu.com if you want to see that you are indeed a troll and I am not making this up. P2-233 a fairly standard machine now. I don't know anyone who bought a computer in the past six months who bought anything less than that.
You got the real video version, not the mpeg. The mpeg is much better visual quality, tho still very dark.

I have no clue what the above thread is about. I have much better things to do with my time. But it is by far the most indented thread I've seen on /.
The only computers I have ever owned are the two I built from scratch. Those don't come with crappy bundles.
