  1. I dont want to live here anymore on New York Judge Rules 6-Year-Old Can Be Sued · · Score: 1

Wow I dont think I want to live in a nation of the litigious where we go around suing everything that breaths. Seriously a 4 year old? Whats next Mr Prosecutor? Will you sue a dog that bites someone next? Maybe a newborn who's mother passes away giving birth? To the family of the deceased my condolences. To the defendant this may be an opportunity to use the Survival of the fittest defense. The judge is only following what the statutes says he must so we shouldnt be too harsh on him; but whom ever started this lawsuit should be sentenced to work at a daycare facility full of 4 year olds for a couple months to learn first hand just what a 4 year old is capable of.

Movielink is requiring IE because they are using an activeX control which is IE specific. Granted they could have done whatever it is they are doing just as efficiently with flash and not required users to click on 2 boxes to allow the activex to run. I personally wont do so unless I really trust the site I am visiting. The best option you have is to emaail their web developers and let them know they just lost $1m for requiring IE.

Get the SanDisk Cruiser Titanium. I have one of these and am very impressed with it. It has a hard shell and the usb connector retracts into the device, unlike the other drives who have a cheap plastic cap that most people loose in a week. As for data secerity, Us GPG to encrypt the contents to a self extracting encrypted archive or just encrypt the data and store a copy of GPG on the drive with the data. If you have more data to backup than what will fit on a thumbdrive then there is the option of an external HDD case. This allows you to place a 300gb hard drive in an external usb enclosure. when the flood waters come you can grab the drive and run.
