My thoughts exactly, they can deny it all they want but I find the previous story more believable. Just put yourself in their shoes for a second, if there was a DoS, not even a breach, and you admit it what would the customers think/do? Skype's not the only company that provides this kinda service...
Using that in a car..mmm... Since I got no A/C and I stick to the seat after 1-2hrs drive from work I might try buildng such a system. It might be trickier though as one has to use a lid for the bucket (damn potholes), punch a hole in it and seal w/ silicone or something; find a custom 12V fan that plugs into the lighter; also hmm a hole on my floor...but I still think it's worth a try...
I just cannot understand what's the relation between Linux desktop usage and Firefox/Thunderbird (or for that reason any other browser/email client)...
Does anyone know how I can modify mine (Dell Latitude CPt/CPx) so that I will be able to see my 80GB drive? I mean the HDD itself works 100% but as soon as I go in the BIOS the stupid thing just freezes there trying to get the HDD parameters... No BIOS upgrade for that one from Dell. Used to work with my old 20GB one that died recently and also heard that 60GB ones are supported but apparently 80's ain't...
There are lots of things Microsoft does that I cannot understand. There is one, however, that no one can answer. How come Microsoft says all sorts of things against Open-Source but at the same time releases Open-Source projects (the ones on Sourceforge)?
Nowadays everyone talks about firefox, even people tat I told about mozilla 2-3 years ago and were ignorant at that point of time. I guess everyone manages to spread the word pretty well and, of course, firefox is great. Good Stuff.
There are firmware upgrades for things like mp3 players (only some) but I've never heard about updating firmware of a dig camera. I guess if they do upgrade the firmware they release the new one as a new model offering "superior" features...
Quite amazing life span for the bugger despite the OS glitches that rendered it almost unusable. Maybe they should use embedded Windows instead of DOS and 640K ram next time to prevent crashes:)
It's manbearpig, not some pig man bear, I'm serial! It's Half man, half bear and half pig, I'm super serial!

And I see a Newsforge banner ad just for that right above the article. Now that suggestion will stick for a while on the front page :)

The MSPod is coming soon! With numerous features, such as bsod and random skipping!
Protection? What protection?
