Talk about ignorant... You do know there are kid geeks as well? Most of us probably know more than most regular adults (average), or well atleast I know I do.
Now if they made a sort of gaming edition, where I didn't have to deal with the rest of the OS. That's obviously for many people one of the few reasons why they have to use Windows rather than Linux, gaming.
So if they made a simple interface for gaming only, with a barebone Windows OS, I think dual booting would be more recommended. No?
Um.. I'm a kid of 15, and have been into technology ever since I was small. Didn't start reading/. till a few years ago. My parents never had to actually show me technology, my father and I used to play Quake 1 when I was around 9.
There are a lot more kid geeks than you know of.
Even if Apple did put this "protection" on their software, how many hours do you think would happen between the release and hackers getting all over it?
What do people not get? Seriously, it's not the amount of VRAM that is included in the card, but the speed of the GPU. I'd rather spend that grand on two equally powerful cards, or a dual GPU card.
Uhh.... Downloable demos? Sounds like trying a game before buying to me. the XPS is a hunk of crap too AFAIK

Sounds like your case is a piece of crap. I've never ever had to move anything to install new RAM.
Maybe he means the final days of the good final fantasy games. ;)
