GPL is the best EULA designed. It doesn't screw anyone but competitors. It's best for captialism but corporations are pushing us to corporate communism were they own everything (think IP) and set prices that aren't altered by changing markets (RIAA, MPAA, MIcrosoft).

Add infinite life span and rapid regeneration, we'd be set. We could post on Slashdot till end of time. Or do something of worth. Of course, immortality would alter human evolution if it is solved at the genetic level. Also, what would be the meaning for an immortal life since most people are creative due to the knowledge of their ultimate fate?

But the most important question: Does immortality run on Linux or FreeBSD?

You do have a point. To me, it relates to outsourcing of jobs as well. Since many could be helpful to many Americans while Wal-Mart and McDonald's are barely liviable incomes, this issue is more important as the lower wage earners can't afford to save or invest for retirement. SS is a safety net in case people can't afford retirement. Best thing to do is limit or ban those whose incomes allows for a properly planned retirement.

If people could get past their cycle of consumerism for endless wants and not needs plus donating a little more instead of getting SUVs, SS may be history. Consider donating 1% of your income to a real charity that helps people in hard times, SS wouldn't be needed anymore. I'm liberal and I have to say that since the 90's, people aren't responsible anymore, in general and myself included, and want others to hold their hands for everything.

If they go into debt, it's a man's fualt. If they lose a job, it's a man's fault. Feminists have caused too many problems.

Feminists need to realize that they got what they wanted and should maintain it but never push for more than their fair share.

If genetic or cultural reasons exist why women tend to be bad at math, so be it. We need a realistic view of the genders since feminists altered too much research for politics.
