    I'd prefer captialism and patriotism anyday. But taking it to the extreme isn't healthy. Captialism and patriotism aren't related. Except to Republicians who are wealthy.

    I prefer captialism + patriotism + U.S. Consitution = AMericanism.

    We did. We showed them how to do it more effectively and efficiently, to the point that many people don't even realize it's happening.

    If it wasn't true, it'd be funny. Makes one wonder why Fox is so conservative now days. Anyways, once Republicians can control the media more, yell liberal bias, and every year remind people that liberals, gays, and Santa is taking CHrist out of Christmas while they remove Christ from CHristianity.

    I blame the speechwriter that had Shrub say Axis of Evil© in the first place. He could have dumped them into a group labeled Pro-Terrorist Regimes and be done. He could throw any nation he doesn't like in it and run with it.

    I doubt they did it during Shrub's 1st term. I'd say they started late in Clinton's 2nd term and just now blaming it on the Axis of Evil© comment in 2001.

    I'm not an IT pro but wouldn't it be easier to test Linux out on printer servers or some other small server? Just switch 1 or 2, test it, and see if the employees can tell the difference. DO that slowly enough and people would adjust easier. Overnight would make it expensive. I'd say at least have Linux ftp, Web, or print servers for an office environment.

    That is what I would do but what would be the proper thing to do?

    I blame the hackers, users, and Microsoft equally. MS should have changed AntiSpyware somewhat or a user could hae placed it in a different folder or a hacker could have done something productive and make a Firefox extension. All 3 are to blame.

    The Christian Right are wrong. What scares them is the fact that Hubble's pics show a large universe (old), that seems to care less about us (no god's plan), and Hubble didn't take a pic of god (god doesn't want The Globe to get his pic).

    As silly as they said the Christian Right is scared and will do anything to either set science back or outlaw it all together.

    Dell's support sucks ass. India can't understand English and want to rformat the PC for no reason. American techs are good but still default to formating. I was there as a temp and they take the lazy way. "Might be the hard drive or not. Let's send a refurbished blank hard drive and see if that wil boot." They suck.

    My PC is 1.5 years old and no BSD can run on it properly. No X, no sound, no network at times yet Linux works with the same hardware with either no problem or need a couple drivers or 4. BSD does it thing well but it needs to have an expanded driver collection and a package manager that also gets dependancies.

    I just wish my hardware wasn't goofy and allow BSD to work. If it's not one thing it's another. Oh well. Given time, BSD maybe able to work on it if they expand drivers. SO much for building my own PC.

    Imagine having everything for Debian GNU/Linux on HVD. All official repositories, some unofficial ones, and so on. Maybe not all but damn close enough. Once that is possible, give it an easier installer and make X default, we'd have a great distro for grandma. Imagine marketing it as the once and last software purchase until they want to buy again. Free online updates for that version would be a great sell.
