(Rs. 2 lakhs (~$4700 minimum) for their personal account.. and yes they had called me up to take their rip-off account so I know I got the minimum right..)

Anyways, something about this just does not sound right. First of all the poor people will always prefer govt. banks due to low minimums, no hidden charges and local language staff besides other reasons.. They dont require ATM's or net/phone banking and its associated costs.

First boy: "My name is John, and my hobby is to see bubble in the Bathtub".

Teacher was confused to listen but said, "Interesting. Well, Ok. In fact, we must be honest in telling the hobby. And after all there is essentially a child in each of us. So it's ok John. Yes next".

Teacher: "Guys are you joking or what? Please be sincere. Ok next".

    This continues...

And the last boy stands up "I'm Harry and my hobby is to see Bubble in the bathtub".

Exhausted, the teacher said, "I don't think I will be able to teach un-grown boys for long. Anyway, now the girls please."

First girl: "I'm Julie and my hobby is to see birds".

  11. Industry User disconnect on MPAA CEO Dan Glickman on the Broadcast Flag · · Score: 1

You say, "Without proper protections, it will be increasingly
difficult to show movies, television shows or even baseball
games on free television." But you do not tell us why you believe
that. I get the feeling you're talking at me, not to me.

Second, these types of protections have already left a bad taste.
For example, not long ago I wanted to show my kids something
quick that we had been discussing. My wife was trying to get us
out the door, but we had a minute, so I popped the DVD into the
player. It starts playing all the junk (sorry, that's how I see it) at
the beginning. So I hit the "Menu" button.

    "Operation not permitted."

So I hit the "Next Chapter" button.

    "Operation not permitted."

So I try the "Fast Foreward" button...

Do I have to say it? In total disgust, since we have no more time,
    I hit the "Stop" button.

    "Operation not permitted."

"What!? I'm not even permitted to stop it? Who gave those clowns
control of my remote?" is exactly what I said aloud, with my kids
present. I then turned off the power switch, conceding that was
all I could control in my own living room.

You want me to believe the broadcast flag will be any better?
And you can't even articulate a good reason why its needed?
You've got a lot of work ahead of you to convince me, and end
user, that the broadcast flag is worth the cost of more
    legislation.

Like for eg. If I go out and buy the cheapest Athlon64 3000+ (1.8Ghz)for 150$ or so and overclock it to 2.8Ghz, which is very possible, then I get a HUGE difference in performance, that I would only be able to get by shelling out many hundreds of dollars more otherwise.

Basically all the cpu's with the same core are the same, only with different multipliers. If you buy the cheapest CPU you should be able to go to the highest speed of the range, if you have the right motherboard that can handle the high fsb's. Although these days there is more speed binning but getting 200-400 Mhz is a piece of cake.

I dont know why people dont overclock1

I am failing to see why Sony has the superior CPU here. Their core is roughly similiar to the core MS is using, and it only has one of them. The SPE's are nice, but they are 'helper' cores, not full general purpose CPU's. They can only be utilized for specific functions, not for everything. By comparison the 360 has three general purpose cores each with its own SPE-like Vector unit. The versatility here should allow far more of the 360's power be easily tapped than the Cell. A dev could easily run a physics engine on one, AI on another, and the core game on the third. That option dosen't really exist on Cell...
