The Element sets seem to not be great, but FWIW last year I bought a TCL 43" 4k Roku TV for $350 or so for our new place - existing 60" wouldn't fit above the fireplace. It looks and operates really well, I have no complaints.
"A few thousand" for a 49" is ludicrous, even if full of useless gimmicks like 3D, 240hz, etc.
One often doesn't have that choice. Case in point: when I took away my ex's keys so she couldn't try to kill herself with her car, after she broke a whole in a door with a bat she walked/hitched to a hospital after the cods released her. That hospital didn't have an open psych bed, so they found her one at another hospital 28 miles away. They required that she take an ambulance. Rural Metro charged $1000 for the privilege, most of which had to be paid out of pocket.
Now 15 years later I still spit on Rural Metro vehicles when I see them.
As to whether I should have just let her try, the cops actually told me that I shouldn't have taken the keys off her, as it was potential liability. I would have been far better off if she had and succeeded, but if she'd only managed to cripple herself it would have been worse.
Yes, I have. According to the forms in the ones that do, itâ(TM)s slow and expensive. And one is at the mercy of whatever enzyme-laden products they use.
Leaving all clothes except what Iâ(TM)m wearing unattended seems like tempting fate.
... and let's see how said people feel when they see their 2018 tax returns, without a bunch of deductions. Many people who have historically itemized will get less back.
Notice how many people drive around indefinitely with burned out turn signal fuses because they can't be bothered to understand and/or change. When you see a one blinking really fast, that's a dead giveaway. I fear that we'll see a nontrivial number of drivers without awareness of what's behind them from simple fuse failures.
There can be a surprising degree of unconscious bias, so I think there's some benefit in actively examining recruiting and hiring. Do recruiters happen to work mostly with mostly-white colleges? Does a demand for unnecessary relocation discriminate against people who aren't single 20-somethings?
We also didnâ(TM)t used to have the rapid turnover of language trendiness we have had for years now. Itâ(TM)s hard to keep up. Perl! No now itâ(TM)s Ruby! No now Python is back from the dead with its punchcard anachronism. No now itâ(TM)s golang!
Except that almost nobody in demographic that such systems appeal to wants to spend their days dicking around with Balkanized , protean, and flaky Linux desktop crap.
The market in my region has been strong enough for years that contingent offers aren't worth even submitting. In my case both parties had a cash down and pre-approval. In our case, we had 10% (via a 401k loan, which doesn't matter). The other party had some higher amount down.
I've never understood this dynamic of home sales. Why do sellers care about the down percentage? In the end they get the same $.
Last summer we put in an at-ask offer on a place; someone else put in one at the same price, but with more down. The sellers went with the other party because of the down, even though we had an escalation clause that would have given them *more* money.
Lunch is for the weak.

Seattle effectively turned into San Francisco years ago, which is why Oregon started seeing infill.
FWIW NJ has the same stupid fuel pumping law.
The Silly Valley is actually a near wasteland for vegan goods.
Let's not forget that the cost to implement and run will eat most of that $20, so net proceeds would be limited.
Plus, you know, legal consensual pr0n != trafficking.
Today we have the gun owners (let's stop pretending that any of them are responsible) themselves the ones influenced by tyranny, and THEY LOVE IT.
Um, we've had tyranny for over a year and the gun lovers haven't prevented it. In fact they enjoy it, despite it screwing them hard.
When the government has predator drones, JoeBob's AR15 ain't gonna prevent shit.
And spend my life dicking around with MS Windows or the balkanized pissing contest that is a Linux desktop? No bargain, no thanks.

In other words, someone watched Childhood's End and Earth: Final Conflict.
woo.
Subsistence gardens?

Lots of people when they travel donâ(TM)t want to blow a day sitting in a laundromat.
Your use of the R word is, well, you know.
Anyone with a mortgage or medical expenses.

You missed a word.

Check the summary -- those are already planned.
